- A Korean documentary about Tae Kwon Do featuring the Il~Do and Elite Fitness schools in Irvine California. Grandmaster Kang's role in teaching Tae Kwon Do and promoting it to the world is clearly shown in this film.
Six parts.
I love Tae Kwon Do !
as well here in Philippines. I live and love taekwondo. :)
I love taekwondo took 8 year break and decided to resume training. After doing both ITF and WTF. There is room for sports and demos with flashy kicks and they are great for exposure WTF is for you. If you want to be well rounded and practical ITF is the way.
Finally someone else agrees agrees with me. Thank you!
If master Bruce Lee would of been here,,he loves going to this amazing events,, absolutely,, master Bruce Lee didn't never missed one,,he was always traveling,, and he used to go everywhere,, absolutely fantastic the way this young amazing Man work in martial arts, God bless them,,
wooo i just started a month ago. its awesome!
MissWooHoo11 - BSL for American Pit Bull Terriers! How is it now
It does originate from karate
im From Koryo Teakwondo Malaysia
Let me educated you. ITF is Japanese karate.
Almost all the founding kwans which went on to form Kukkiwon started as Karate schools
just a heads up to people about to watch, this documentary is about advertising taekwondo and the history of its promotion in other countries. not about the history and techniques of taekwondo.
great video sir
To say WT or ITF is better is not correct, what you should compare is your school, if you have a good teacher then you will learn good taekwondo, traditional taekwondo. A teacher who only teaches sparring, or demonstration kicks, or only street fighting techniques is not a good teacher. The WT/ITF debate is not in the spirit of taekwondo and is boring anyway...
Good point.
The head of ITF master NAM come to see me . Did he come to see u.?
More of a person to person preference i like to mix both my hands and feet in. What you see on TV is the sport portion of the martial art which follows WTF sparring rules.
But to say that it's less of a military martial art is bit unfair considering that it was developed by the Korean military. It's like any martial art in that it hones your body into a weapon. Just it's recent popularization in the Olympics has given it a sports label.
So do I. But I do spar a lot with TKD people and Muay Thai. The difference couldn't be more apparent.
Do what many others have done before you, setup a school and bring the art to your community.
That's correct.
cool :) . i do karate
and man i like this black guy's minds
way cool!
the way of taekwondo... the way of 'the way of hand and foot'... ?
how long did it take you?
very similar situation with me like bahamasartits becouse in Lithuania just a few people know taekwondo and i practice it at home
I HAVE KOREAN PRIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
However, TKD use a lot more foot though. And the focus is more to sport than actual martial/military art.
Me2!^^
Are they british australian or british and australian ?
As martial art wtf is a joke. As a sport is entrainment .
taekwondo kinda looks like shotokan karate . maybe its because it was influenced by it .
those people are english, not australian
I prefer Taekwon-DO from Noth Korea.
