Oh man, that Tecmo Knight/Wild Fang game looks hideous. I would never play it. Thought I will say this, it has a vibe to it that makes me think of Golden Axe. Not sure why though. Tough Turf, never heard of it, other than what you had told me before, but what little bit I heard, that OST sounds good. That's probably what Sunsoft did :p
I mean there is a SLIGHT dark fantasy aspect of Golden Axe, but not in this same kind of grungy way! I agree with you, it's certainly not attractive! I think there's SOMETHING to it...but maybe that's because I was putting it up against Tough Turf which is just...kind of a loser all around! Except for that OST!
Glad to see you take on the weird and mediocre world of Tough Turf, starring the two toughest Jehovahs Witnesses around! And that "story" with its ending...yeeesh. BTW the movie Tuff Turf (esp the final act) is almost like if the brawler formula was written into an 80's teen crime drama movie. The final boss even has a gun!😂
