i really like the customizable headlights, its not a gimmick, its not essential but its not a gimmick, because light signature is a massive part of the looks of the car, so they do as much difference as the color of the car, in the night infact they re the thing that distinguishes the car, so its great to be able to chose its looks

Very nice detailed demo. I ordered a well trimmed S Line a couple of weeks ago and I'm looking forward to getting it in early 2022.
A few things though, the early models had the 360 cameras and wireless phone charging as options, it seems those options have been deleted though, the usual blame is put on the shortage of semiconductors. A little annoying but no real big deal as there are plenty of wireless charging options around and plenty of space under the console to put it. The backup camera is still available as option though, very handy for backing into charging bays.

How is the driving position compared to the id4? I am 1.96 and it seemed like sitting in an mx5 when I got in the id4, instead of a proper SUV (due to batteries bringing the floor up if you know what I mean).

It felt ok, if the car wasn’t SUV body type It would be short because of the battery. I have that problem in my Tesla model 3.
Audi was the first one in the family to make the buttons for the lights 🙂
your multimedia menu presentation is short but well done 👍, many people have no idea how easy is and that they can actually customize everything making it even easier (and thank you for not saying that hard plastic is cheap, because thats completely false, and almost all car reviewers are misguiding people when they say that)

Nope, it’s not a Tesla.
You have (wireless) Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, much easier to stream Netflix from your phone to your car in my opinion.

Excruciating details, with little overall views of both interior and exterior. Lots of ants view of individual buttons / switches, and personal preferences. This presentation is best suited for delivering a car to a customer before he / she drives off with a new car.
Review is to show potential customers what they get if they chose the car. That’s what I was looking for when I was buying mine and there were no videos. Only boring press that are more of overpass and entertainment glorifying cars as press are usually paid to promote cars and point out pros while they skip the real cons. This is why I started this channel to help others when looking for new cars.

They share the same MEB platform. That’s the whole idea...
@@ram64man They share same platform but platform is only what’s underneath. Everything else is different. Xc40 and polestar 2 is also on same platforms along with other cars in the VW-group. Really nothing new at all. It is also a very good platform as both enyaq/id4 ha e received good reviews.
Your missing the point the polestar and xe40 hive identical 0-60 , it’s the same here , Audi was always the performance arm of vag it’s best cars used a blend of aluminium, but by just using the same steel platform, the same motor output, the same toque settings, seat born offered more hp with its Id variant as an option, so shouldn’t Audi but on a different scale 20hp may not sound much but it would give performance and torque levels equal to Tesla’s long range mode. With the y delayed until v2 arrives in Germany’s plant that’s a lot of sales Audi could clear up on , instead we’ve got a Id copy with more dressing
Gorgeous vehicle. Sad that Audi won't include the amber indicators for the US models. We get stuck with red, which looks like sh#t.
I agree, the whole world uses amber turn signals while US has confusing rear red turn signals.

I must be the only one on the planet that thinks the Audi interior isn't as pretty or as nice as everyone seems to think. The build quality is there but I think its unspectacular to look at. That wheel (which is a paid option!) is so ugly... flat bottoms.. why oh why.
Interior way ahead of Tesla, range and performance miles behind.
performance yes (5,1s vs 6,2s (0-100km/h)), but range? offical numbers in europe are (Model Y 505km at a price of 58620€ vs Q4 515km at a price of 47500€). in range there basicly the same!
I wouldn’t compare WLTP range, as for the most part it variates in real life.
