I'm confused. Did they really decide this by a crowd decibel meter?! It's a tremendous advantage to go second.
Why is that
@@lennard7152 Going second gives the supporters the decibel score they know they have to beat. If crowd support was completely equal, going second allows their supporters to push that little bit harder for an extra decibel and win. Friends can really really scream to cross that line once they know what it takes.

@@lennard7152 Yea exactly. Also turns it into a popularity contest, which is a big handicap for foreign dancers. I do like the crowd participating though. So SUMMER DANCE! In the future please consider having crowd vote by screaming as you do, the judges take this into ACCOUNT, but THE JUDGES have the final say to keep it from popularity / hometown bias / second dancer advantage.
I think these are judges fun battles in a 9 day festival though. I don’t actually think they win any prize money so I doubt whoever wins matters. The popping, hip hop, and locking portions of the festival are free to enter so they won’t have any prize money pooled anyways...
