I want to get into fashion design so bad, or at least just tailoring my own clothes... i’m a Nurse, just moved from inpatient care to the emergency room. Just got my bonus for working through covid and was able to basically buy myself an entire wardrobe of outfits... for the longest time ive never been able to dress myself. I’m finally finding out what works for my body type and finally wearing color instead of just black and white... i’m so inspired by fashion, i want to make my own clothes because i have so many ideas in my head, just no skill😍😍
Was the schooling to be a nurse hard. Because I’m thinking about becoming a nurse for my career choice.
I love this! Go for your dreams:) I’m currently looking for my own dream at the moment. I have creativity and have noticed that I can improve and become great. I want to get into touch with something that’s creativity that I can do very well! Any advice or tips? I hope you go for your goal lusi:)
Do it! Making your own clothes is so fun 💗 there are so many free resources on The internet to learn it 🙏 and you can get A basic sewing mashine for a good price 🙏

I love your channel so much! Do you have any advice for highschool students to learn fashion-related things? Any resources or classes?
Honestly before I started studying fashion in college, youtube was my favorite resource! There are some very specific channels on here that teach just sewing techniques (prof pincushion) and draping (nick verreos), etc.
I really like zoe Hong for the more industrial side of things! I'm a high school student too :)

I just realized I have your bishop sleeved dress pattern saved on Etsy. I will buy it after I meet my sewing quota and can buy new fabric. I buy more fabric than I sew and as a beginner...that's not good.
