Why are we still debating about who created Fuji music? Some Africans have trouble given honors to whom honors are due.
SAB created Fuji music. He defines it, he popularized it and fought gallantly, for it.
I totally agree with you but yorubas has a massive problem with stuff like this and it's also because K1 us too proud will all his achievements within fuji music. If K1 did not achieve what he has right now, I can assure you no-one will talk about him. God help us!

My father don't get any other music than barrister up to date but this k1 and Killington never say barrister was not the fuji creator when he was alive and why now. Let's all face reality. When it comes to fuji, na barrister is the creator for a fact. As for the issue of barrister crowning saheed, its a very big error for example, if a father has many children and he decided to will his properties to one of his children because the properties belong to him not knowing he will die early but unknown to him the will was exposed to his other children and the man later died. Tell me, how do u expect his other children to be happy with him after his death? . What i expect from Barry's children is to send an open apology to all other fuji act on behalf of there father, then anyone who also offend barry should also apologise. Then i promise u, they will all celebrate him more. Barry did not settle d conflict before he left. As a father you dont take side but to settle your children whenever there's conflict and a lot of fuji act are still aggrieved.
It's their problem if a child is bad the father may exclude him from his will and it's authentic Barrister children have no issue with any Fuji musician it's not for them to apologize

Barry told Saheed (KSO) in the presence of GKA, K1, PK1st, and all other top Fuji musicians and others at a meeting organized to settle the rift among Fuji musicians; He told KSO that he did not make him King above K1. He stated that King of music, in the Fuji genre is under King of Fuji. That been stated, Barry's life is simple, Barry will call any Fuji musician anything they want him to call them, the same way he will call his fans anything they want him to call them at a party. KSO issue was different because he was making waves at the time, and some Fuji musicians were jealous. There is no Fuji musician, no matter how small or big that has never called himself king in one way or another. I have listened to every single Fuji musicians that have ever hit the national stage, and more.
The caller is very bias. My father said the only 2 Fuji stars then are Barrister and Kollington. I am going to be 60 years in age in the next 2 years. Even before lines of Wasiu Ayinde and co. There was a young talented Fuji star in Mushin then in 70’s

I lucky sat down having conversation with a man used to be Sunny Ade manager and a man happen to be one of Barrister close friends don't forget Barrister has alot of friends but this very man I called Barrister friends said his first son was giving name on naming ceremony day by Barrister even the son oriki is Ayinde. Does two men were having serious conversations and they mentioned Barrister but I'm not sure if what they were saying is truth or not because I was not there when the issue happened. All I know is that the matter is very very deep.

The person who actually transform Fuji to what is known as Fuji today is Kollington , they Kollington and Barrister both popularize the genre. Neither Kollington nor Barrister created Fuji, except for someone who does not know the meaning of creator.

Even SAB, GKA, KWAM1 and all elders in that field all agree that WEREE was rebranded to Fuji for general entertainment and acceptance as against WEREE specifically for the Muslim fasting period only, does that make SAB the creator? the popularity of that brand was Late SAB .... modernised Input by Kollington, KWAM1 and others. You all go and listen to an album called ‘Fertiliser’ by Sikiru Ayinde Barrister himself.
In Yoruba music industry every singer will claim to be 'king' We all call and he called himself (Late SAB) Mr Fuji, Alhaji Agbe, the creator or fuji because he wanted to set himself apart from others being the oldest ..most popular and first to release Fuji album..and he deserves to be called so!.
Kollington, Wasiu all call SAB in a recent interview lately fuji creator because they don’t want controversies or seen to embarrass Late SAB or even bring the legacy of Fuji into an argument. The word creator is honorary to him.

Even Barrister made it clearly in his interview that he borrowed the Fuji name because of two seasons 1..because old Fuji music played in the 50ths that has been faded away 2. Because of a place called mountain of love in Hongkong .
If one music in the 50ths named Fuji and another person in the 60ths name his owen type of music Fuji again. Why he it not look for another name to called his owen music in the 60ths ? ....why that same name of Fuji music faded in the 50ths?
