SAB was humility personified. I recall our meeting during PASA night, Ogun State Polytechnic Abeokuta in the 90s where I was a Lecturer and Staff Adviser to the Professional Accountancy Students' Association. As 'mighty' as he was as a musician, he left the stage to come over to where I was seated in order to greet me. I must confess, I felt so honoured and overwhelmed by his humility and simplicity. Rest on Agba Akin Ololade Barrister. The funny aspect is I am a die -hard fan of General Kollington Ayinla and a self- proclaimed Alatika Junior.

The first born of Aare Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Balogun’s mother, Ma, Sifawu Motomori Ode, Pa, Mufutau Akaani Olayiwola Shutti was my father’s intimate friend, Pa, Gabriel Oludele Ajao. When I was in Nigeria, I had opportunities to attend many of Alhaji Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister’s gigs by the courtesy of Brother Adetunji Shutti who is my older brother, my family and his were friends, still friends till date. I am from Iwo, in Osun State. I was close to Brother, Tuji, Brother Nurudeen Babarimisa Salawu Balogun, and all the family members of Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister from Iwo. I severally had hot arguments with people then, because we knew all what Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Balogun did for General Kollington, and he was ungrateful and sang with vendetta to bring his friend down,. Despite the fact that, Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Balogun was older than Alhaji Ilori for five years, but still called him his friend. How magnanimous and peace loving person Baba Baba Baba was then? Well we thank God that General Ayinla Kollington finally did the needful. I have forgiven him myself and love him the more. I will suggest you crown him as the next Supreme Fuji King at Dr. Sikiru Durojaye Ayinde Ogun Salami Balogun’s Birthday. God bless you mightily, superabundantly, and supersonically, Otun Oba Muili.
