I’m not a Republican. I’m not a D either. Virtually all politicians disgust me with their corrupt dealings, back door deals, big spending, war mongering, and freedom-denying ways, and fiscally there isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the two major parties. Career politicians who effectively cannot be primaried out due to how the parties work at the state level, denying grassroots candidates party support and massive spending support for incumbents, is the worst thing in politics, in my opinion. Most people don’t even know how that works behind the scenes, blindly supporting one party or another. If anything leads to our downfall, this will be what does it, again, in my opinion. Two words…. term limits! (For Congress and the Supreme Court). Enough said.

The revolutionary war was a lie. The British didn't leave until much later. Legally, America is still a British colony and is controlled by the Pope. July 4 is the day of creation in Egypt from 14,000 BC. It used to be called Amaruca, land of the serpent. It's controlled by the central banks that ruin our lives. Andrew Jackson kicked them out for 70 some years, but they came and established the federal reserve, and 100 years of inflation later, we are being replaced.

Australian "candidates" have a set amount of money to spend for their campaign which they must spend wisely, as there's no more to go around. There are multiple parties to choose from, and advertising ceases a week before election day. There are multiple polling booths per suburb open 7 days a week a month before election day, and all ballots are paper ballots counted individually. There is no party registration for voters, just voting registration. We are able to vote for whomever we please for several candidates across multiple parties as this allows a greater cross-section of parties representatives in parliament.

    • @NotAGoodUsername360

That's because as a Canadian you get to enjoy City Democracy where the entirety of rule of law in Canada is determined by the three cities a large percentage of the population lives in (at least one of whom is always complaining of unfairness when the other two cities don't agree with them, and one that is always trying to secede but never will because they'd lose all their Charter privileges they bribed the British government so much money to get hundreds of years ago)!
Bask in the glory of First Past The Post where we laugh at Americans that whine that the Electoral College gives disproportionate representation to low population areas, as we've somehow wound up with a system that manages to give disproportionate representation to overpopulated areas that don't even need it!
This makes it really easy for a group of old money elites called the Laurentians to basically dictate who runs the country, because they know what at least two of the 3 cities want and are very good at manipulating parties into putting their people in, since 90% of the population doesn't pay party member fees and therefore end up voting for Red Team or Blue Team, regardless of who is actually nominated or what they believe in. Or Yellow Team, if you're a Communist or Communist-In-Denial. And we have Light Blue Team who only exist in one province and who basically exist to harass the Federal government because they mathematically cannot form government. Really, glorified Provincial parties have no business in the HoC but that doesn't stop a certain province from wasting our money on them.
But whatever you do, don't vote Purple Team. Or else.
