Do the Americans use different words that is associated with houses? Or perhaps they might have different type of houses and properties than the British so they would use different names for their stuff. It is actually very nice to see someone in TH-cam teaching British English since most English teachers in youtube are Americans and teach American English Thanks

What's the difference between a hob, a burner and a hotplate? I guess, "hob" is British English(gas?), "burner" American English (+gas or both) and a hotplate uses electric heating.. Am I right? Attic is definitely living.. en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/attic But loft can be used for living spaces too. However, I usually hear it used for non living.
