This is the message that we CAN do something about! In another video you said there is no choice because there's no one here to choose! While that may be the case 🤷🤷 we CAN choose to sit and investigate how THIS works!
I'm not saying that the mind will ever figure it out because it won't! But if we LOOK as your suggesting here, it can be seen! The more we look the more wisdom is aloud to enter.
In my case, I had a radical shift in 2012 where the personal self was seen as unreal. Everything was/is ME! BUT somehow the thought arose "How can I live like THIS? No one will understand THIS point of view!" Then that wide open lense of awareness narrowed back into the manifested identity of "Rick" and I chased that experience for years! Often still do to be honest! But what's actually experienced here is the sense of personal identity on Top of ever present awareness. I get caught up in the mind every day! And it's EASY TO DO!
So I have to Remember to just say hey wait just a damn minute here! What's really going on? And I look at it again. Then it's hilarious how I had no control or choice of whether or not I got caught up in mental activity 🙃
So I'd like to share a poem that expresses that dilemma.
The Human Beast
"I've set about to find myself", such a silly notion!
A drop of water looks about, trying to find the ocean!
Water water everywhere! But not a drop to drink!
Ideas and thoughts surround me, yet I don't know how to think?!
Deep inside we try to hide, and say that we're not there. Then weep and cry and often die believing no one cares.
The human beast to say the least,
is such a silly creature!
It looks about so full of doubt, it missed its finest feature!
So full of fear, which it holds so dear. it fails to find it's gift!
The power inside it tries to hide would give it such a lift!
But instead it looks,
in poems and books
but never sees inside.
The fear that buries the love it carries beneath its foolish pride!

I remember 'snapping out of it' at one point, and suddenly seeing the 'actual' room I was in around me and thinking 'hoooolllly fuck I am tripping sooooo hard'. I had totally forgotten I was just in my bedroom, but instead thought I was basically taking a tour of this consciousness factory.

I needed this tonight. I been trying to heal my body and I keep telling myself I am broken. I am not this dis-ease but so hard to stop identifying and trying to fix it.
I also keep indetifiying with the pain I feel, I met the perspective to describe the pain not as something to heal. But as a sign of growth, and a place where old is melting and room for new is born.
To watch pain release is reliefing on so many levels.
