CNBC and Huawei logo's are too close.
Haha - we had it first!
once they were lover, that's why.
CNBC International ,you must have some ties with those commies, haven't you? Tell me the truth ;)
stop it felix.
B Jiang : where u get that from? Don't tell me English monarchy created church of England, in order for their sin can be overlooked among some monarchy members, now have they rewritten the old n new testimony too? I thought all bible was inspired by God, not invented by human!
almost all big Chinese corporate are like this.. that is why China is now one of the super power
Mmm No it is not a super power
Jonathan Hartono no definitely china is not a super power
Hahaha you are sooo wrong, most of chines companies are sweatshop where people get paid next to nothing, and employ children to make iPhones for example.
David Hernandez
You are STUPID. Definition of Stupid: Know the truth, Seen the truth, but still believe in lies. That means YOU.
Jonathan Hartono big company yes . But some small companies still not so good
wonderful way to improve employee efficiency, keep the worker and employees happy and reduce the attrition rate by giving them subsidized food and allow them for a short nap.

I have to say, Huawei products are actually quite nice
Ive ordered a Xiaomi Pocophone, coming in 3 to 4 weeks
@@_Wai_Wai_
Poco phone is not a Huawei product
now you are saying the truth
true
Yeah bro
This is something else. China is much ahead of even the most developed countries.
On the surface yes, and only a handful of city is developed as “model city”. But when you look deeper into vast majority of Chinese cities you will be suprise by how shitty it actually is.
@@luminouswaves2640 same in America, you’ll be surprised by how shitty cracked head tents that’s almost everywhere
Allowing for naps is the best. It’s so crazy that in America we work through the whole day
Seven7 you mean democracy with caffeine substance in it?
Research has found out that napping could help slowing ageing. That’s why Asian looks much younger than White peoples.
no Sleeping a full night to ensure proper REM is by far the most healthy way of living over disjointed sleeping panels. White people tend to age quicker because their skin evolved for extremely low sunlight, yet in the new world they live in high sunlight environments. This causes premature ageing. It is an environmental factor, not a biological or sleep caused.
This is pretty much normal in India too.
In china, people usually have nap time afternoon. The boss will not blame you because you will not be exhausted later. Same in school.
Love huawei phone... Good experience Always with their product
Like they say in the HBO's Sillicon Valley: this is the new China
Like Shenzen and its Open Hardware ideas.
I eat the fish.
When you can't compete, kidnap huawei boss's daughter, the American way. Shame on you!
She's wouldn't be arrested if she didn't do deals with Iran. As agreed upon. Its simple. She's and Huawei have themselves to blame
@@deathman020 What about all the western brands that did so as well?
@@deathman020 The so-called "crime" was "committed" offshore. And the Iran sanction imposed by the US is deemed illegal by the WTO and the UN.
Moreover, no country has any right to arrest anyone for crimes committed in another country. Otherwise, China can arrest almost all US/CA citizens for smoking weed back at home, as it is a crime to smoke weed in China.
Yerris yeah they have no right to do what they did. In fact, they are not policeman in worldwide.
@@deathman020 YAP, you are right! US can sell weapons to other countries for killing. but Huawei can't sell mobile phones for connecting. What a great world! Happy New Year!

China and India can never coexist.

Wtf is wrong with you lol
I want to work for this company after I graduate with my course.
Ae Yo Ricky , this company actually is collecting talents all over the world, if you get some specialities, you're in. But this is a super competitive company, every employee is a shareholder, everybody is trying to climb to the top, prepare yourself, be a wolf, otherwise you won't survive.
I heard they expect you to work overtime every day, in China there is a saying that only peasants' children join Huawei which is somewhat true.
Taichi Winchester thanks for that info.
Taichi Winchester ,that's some loser talking.
Taichi is quite right.
The working environment is much more lay back in other tech companies in China like Tencent, Netease and Didi. You do expect to work overtime in those companies, but not like 12 hours x 6 days a week at Huawei.
In general, Huawei wouldn't want to hire you for entry level positions if you grew up in a well off family. They consider you are less likely to be able to 吃苦 (working hard and OK with terrible benefits), and prefer students from lower-middle class who are naiver and easier to be exploited.
Senior level positions are a another story, though.
That's crazy!!!! I would so go visit this place or play a gig! On the list right after Samsung City!
You mean Samsung Digital city?
Yeah in Korea!
Me too!
Huawei revenue in 2017 is $20 billion larger than Sony or Panasonic.
Sony is declining...they should invest on semiconductor rather than old junks
Sony is dying fast only thing keeping them alive is semi conductors and the Playstation brand what other thing are they being succesfull at ???
Wow! I want to work there. So many good amenities for their employees and that nap time area is the best. So lit!
This deserves a 45 mins documentary.
Huawei is my next phone.
Thank CNBC for bringing plenty of good guidance tours like this to the viewers in every corner of the world. It's really helpful!
CNBC logo is peacock, Huawei logo is lotus flower, they’re quite different.
Lotus flower .Modi will be happy
Many haters don’t know how much money for these employees can make there. Juicy money, but for sure very much load. It’s your choice, but ONLY IF you have the ability. Otherwise don’t call people “slave”
China lifted another 400 million! out of poverty! America pushes its population into slave labor for military rubbish.
Guzzi Antonella I'm presuming by military slave labor you mean the draft which American got rid of several decades ago while most the world still has madatory military sevice
Simon SS sure slave. Haha

Huawei is great
Huawei is great, and has grown, matured and fast becoming kind of 'A Must Watch' for global spying Anglo group of 'Five Eyes', namely U.S.A, Canada, Britain, Australia & New Zealand, which have been keeping the world under their spying, listening and watching, through vast extensive telecommunication networks. It's no wonder they feel threaten by it. Moreover, this same old lame old bands of Anglo brothers were major practitioners and benefactors of notorious global cardinal sins of the past & present, like Slavery, Colonialism, and Colonization of the world from ginormous resourceful North America continent, the land rightfully belongs to indigenous Natives American people to vast bountiful Continent of Australia/New Zealand in Asia-Pacific, the land rightfully belongs to people of Asia- Pacific. Brah, how to apply for Huawei?
Chris Willis 1st graduate from high level uni, 2nd pass some sort of exam(fucking hard)
They literally collects talents all over the world. If you have some sort of specialties, you're in. But it's a super competitive company, every employee is a shareholder, everybody is trying to climb to the top, make sure you are a wolf before you apply for the job.
The end of time well currently I'm in Princeton. I don't think Huawei comes here for placement. Only American companies. Last year I did an internship in soft bank, in Tokyo and it was freaking AWESOME!! Asian companies are way better than ours.
Chris Willis which branch dude?? I'm in automobile.
They do hire graduates from US institutions. I had contacts with their recruiters a couple times in the past. I am Chinese BTW.. They don't attend career fairs usually, but host their own events in cities with large or top schools.
Their pay isn't great comparing to other Chinese giants like Alibaba or Tencent and they are also notorious for ridiculous long working hours. Many employees are on 9-9-6 schedule. 9 AM to 9 PM for six days a week. That's part of the reason why they need a nap after lunch. You don't always have that shit load of work to do. It's just no one dare to leave before their director/manager leave. You will be given special attentions if you don't work that many hours and will not receive the full annually bonus (usually 30% to 100% of your annual salary).
Again, it's not a bad place to work if you have the passion, but the compensations and benefits are not comparable to Silicon Valley companies.
been using HTC and decided to buy a Huawei phone-damn what a difference.i'm hooked.i've never used samsung so can't really compare
...land of the free and the home of the brave. We are so screwed.
My sister and brother-in-law have been working at Huawei for more than 15 years.
They work very hard, 24 hours a day, just a phone call to go to the company.
I don't believe in you, no one survive in 24hours work unless once in a while only... Can you imagine working in a week without sleep,,
It's not pronounced "Wahway", it's pronounced "Huahway".

Anybody notice how similar the Huawei and CNBC logos are?
Huawei had the peacock for dinner. Recently they had Apple for dessert. They're going to play the Same Song as Samsung when they become number one seller. Intel tells me Intel and Qualcomm will be shiting in their pants due to Mr T's ban and sanction.

Very futuristic company. I wanna go here. Huawei is the best 😍
Wow, the US government is talking shit to keep people from buying this mega brand (yes I call it mega because Huawei is a power brand when it comes to mobile phone here in Asia)
We might not be smart enough to make a good phone, but at least we know which is nicer to use. Lol.

Shenzhen is a great city . Although nothing like it's immediate neighbour , HK.

It always gets me that the English speakers are unable to say “Huawei” properly. It’s not Wha we. You need to actually pronounce the sound of “H” out. It sounds like “H” in “he” .
English speakers dont pronounce H in a word such as Honest , pronounced as O-nest. Huawei will have to be who-wa-way

In China unlimited LTE (full speed until you reach 40GB) costs 15$ a month, or you can get 1GB each day for a little bit more than 5.5$ a month, national wide outgoing calls cost 1.6 cents per minute, no contract required. SMS is also 1.6 cents each but not many people use it in China these days.
it's everywhere
