That's because US stands to lose billions in revenue if every nations switch to Huawei 5G. Right now, every nations are paying US tens to hundreds of millions in 4G license fee for the use of their technology.

This is biased. Huawei CEO is a former PLA officer, he is not a engineer of PLA. In China, this is really common. If you can not go up to a certain level in military, you have to leave the army.
Plus, PLA is just a customer of Huawei, like the US military is a customer of Apple, Dell, AT&T etc. This relationship is not a proof of the SECRET relationship between HUAWEI and PLA. You makes it sounds like Huawei is born from PLA.

Well i live in Greece and my telco company (Both landline and mobile) - Vodafone (it is a British multinational telecommunications conglomerate, for you US citizens), uses for years now Huawei equipment for their customers - actually my Wi-Fi router is made by Huawei. Here in Greece and many other European countries Huawei is considered to be a very reliable telecommunications equipment and consumer electronics manufacturer. Their smartphones are also quite successful (and cheap - compared to other manufacturers for what they offer). It's not an outsider but a very big player. Although i already have another Chinese brand phone (Xiaomi, which is also excellent imho)

HUAWEI's 5G equipment is one of the cheapest solution and it's also the fastest one. That's why Trump is anxious.
Because by our law, every company must have a CCP comittee. I can understand why the US is banning Huawei as it states in our laws all companies must cooperate with the party, and frankly that's the only way to success. There are a lot more layers than just making better tech.
