The sheer variety in the instrumentation here is amazing. Guitar one minute, reed organ the next, just makes me smile to hear. Definitely one of the more memorable tracks for me.
GravityMan.exe is just so chonky, powerful yet derpy and is my favorite NetNavi. Also gives me Astro Man vibes (Who happens to be my favorite Robot Master from the OG series.)
Ah. So Hosoe worked on about half of my favorite tracks (this being one one of them) while Yasui did about the other half. The only songs I like from the other guy are Shadow Man and Pharaoh man.
last navi chip i have left to get before hunting bass. also missing footstomp, hammer, some ring zap types, satellite types, yoyo types, candle types, ice cube, dropdown, and lifeaura 2 and 3 before i complete the entire library..
This comment was a billion years ago, but if you're still around and curious... Hosoe did the Densan Internet theme, Electric Town Network (Bright Man), Waterworks Network (Ice Man), Suspicious Event, Low Gravity Area (Gravity Man), Zero Gravity Area (Star Man), Zero Account, Sudden Threat, Darknet, Dream Virus R Ayako Saso did the Title Theme, Room Theme, Bank Network (Quick Man), Gamecenter Network (Color Man), Hero Theme, Legendary WWW Area (Pharaoh Man), Ruined WWW Area (Shadow Man), Zero's Revival, and Game Over Yousuke Yasui did the Peaceful Event, Garden Network (Needle Man), Power Plant Network (Elec Man), Deprecated Network (Sword Man), Zero Battle, Firewall, Ending Internet Ablaze (Fire Man) and Boss Theme were co-composed by Yousuke Yasui, with Ayako Saso providing the victory/eyecatch jingles.
This is a pretty amazing and rocking stage theme for one of the most underwhelming EXE adaptations ever. Most of the EXE designs I would usually argue look better than the original but this... Ehhh...
There's a few measures where it *could* be read as 4/4 but the majority of the song is very clearly in sets of 3 beats. Thinking on it it's more likely to be 3/4 or 6/4 than 6/8 given the subdivision of beats, but most of the song sure as hell isn't 4/4.

GRAVITY HOLD! GRAVITY DRIVE! GRAVITY DRIVE!
Am I the only who noticed that 1:45 is a nod to Gravity Man's stage theme from Mega Man 5?~
Pink Furby lol

Good catch
you're right!! that brought me great joy ahaha
I don't hear it...
Sees purple Mettaurs.
Picks Cannon3.
Realizes 10 is the minimum number of Cannon3's you can have in the game.
Leaves to go buy more health items.
Maximum*
@@zekelinguine3458Those of us who played the game READ it as maximum.
Anyone else feel like this would work as music in a Gradius level?
Kinda works if you ask me 😆
@@aliultimate009 ahhh...i did nto know you liked megaman exe stuff as well! :D
This song is perfect for Background music when you play puzzle games like Portal or Portal 2.

i love hearing this theme while fighting all that overloading technology. GravityMan kicks ass, but in the anime he should've been more serious
This is legitimately textbook prog rock, and it's sick.
The sound of the guitar in the beginning reminds me to Daft Punk lol
Super Mario 64 Bloopers from Megaman 765!!!
Hahahahahaha
Takes me back. :’)

and a topic on gameFAQs that said it sounds like he says gravity monkedo when he enters
Pretty good
Dude, I thought I was the only one that caught that! XD
sounds like something from bloody roar primal fury o_o
This track is confirmed as being Hosoe's.
Has a bit of a Mega Man X7 sound to it.
Is there a list of who worked on which song? I wanna know how many of my favorite songs from this game are actually his.

Por poco, y pense que era el tema de Zero en este juego. Tiene parecido con los soundtracks de zero en otros juegos.. :y

GravityMan.EXE is just a fucking sphere
does anyone know what time signature this song is in?
4/4
@@whos_there. Bruh that's 6/8
nah it is 4/4

Maybe. We could just be hearing the song differently - I can definitely see where you're coming from, but try counting in 4/4
Huh... weird.
