    The 80-20 Principle by Richard Koch. You familiar with The 80/20 Principle (aka The Pareto Principle)?! In this PN TV episode we take a quick peek at a great book that shows us all the ways we can find the 20% of our efforts that produce 80% of our results (and why we should care!). Hope you dig it! :)

    Totally agree with this. I found 20% of this video to be interesting or useful.

      That's the funny thing: Even if you try to do only the most important %20, you'll find the same principle again: the most important 20% of the most important 20%.

    interesting book! Although now the 1 % of the planet i think have 40% of the GDP worldwide. It's kind of funny that. But maybe the 80/20 is the balance ratio of nature..?! :) What do you believe Brian?

      Costas Plassaras I don't think about those things as I'm too focused on helping one individual at a time optimize and actualize!

      80/20 is fractal. Meaning 4% own 64% and .8% own 52% (or close to that)

    Hi Brian,
    Glad to be reminded of 80/20 again. Need reminding because I rarely seem to keep that fundamental life principle in front of mind, during my day-to-day. Thanks.
    Cheers, Thea

    Nor every case has 80/2o ratio.Forinstance in flying aircraft or in surgery 100 is relvent to save life. In 80 percent of cases we have to find out the 20 percent which is relvent.We need to give atleast 80 sffort to fiond the relevent 20percent

    2:15 It seems like 20% of criminals would account for 100% of crimes (crimes are committed exclusively by criminals) and 20% of married people would account for 100% of divorces (divorces can't occur unless you're married).

    • @hybby
      @hybby 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      One thing worth considering - if you look at the history of people who are divorced, as well as statistical information, you'll find that a lot of divorced people get married again, then get divorced again. So they become the 20% of the married people (all of the 100% of married people) who account for 80% of the divorce, because they account as 'divorced' multiple times.
      So you're right, divorces can't happen when you're married. However, a person can get divorced 1, 2, 3, 4, infinite times. Each time they do, and for each person whom has multiple divorces to their name, they become part of the smaller percentage which accounts for MORE of the divorces. :)
