- Ghost of Tsushima with no damage, sword only, no armor, no charms, no resolve attacks and no ghost stance! If I take damage, time to restart from checkpoint! All these restrictions in the hope that I can become a truly legendary yet still honorable samurai warrior of Tsushima! Mostly it will just make me in pain but that works too!
Rules
If damage taken, restart from checkpoint
Sword Only(No other attack allowed, even smokebombs or lures are not allowed)
No Armor(Stay in Broken Armor always)
No Resolve Attacks
No Ghost Stance kills
No Charms

No consequences for letting the strawhats die? Must've been a patch, because I'm 99% sure letting them die used to count as a failure, which is literally the only reason I've ever helped a strawhat. Also, definitely appreciate prioritising having fun over efficiently winning

I don't know if you already are, but you should try challenge runs like this on lethal difficulty. The enemies die in fewer hits and since you are doing a one-hit reset run anyway it doesn't really matter for you. the only thing I'll say is that the beginning of the game is almost impossible on lethal.
A good tip! Ye, every challenge I do for these Ghost runs are on lethal difficulty! Only way I know to play the game :)
In the shimura castle mission you can sneak through a window in the room behind the guard

No damage runs are probably easier on lethal since enemies are weak as fuck on that too

Do this but with all curses, no stealth, no ghost weapons, and the fundoshi armor set. I’ve been attempting this challenge for about 6 days.
If you do attempt this, you can make yourself suffer more by not upgrading your sword nor having any beneficial charms, also you are allowed to use stealth in missions that fail if you get caught. Same with ghost stance.
An all curse challenge has been on my mind! Technically broken armor is still worse than fundoshi armor, but not by much true and one can't beat the visual gag for sure. I'll keep it in mind :) Much appreciated

I did do a God of War(2018) Fists only challenge, but I actually intend to redo that one for 100% since the audio on that video is rather...bad 😄

True, I'm aware, but the problem with that, especially with archers, is that it will likely kill them. Plus the essence of doing sword only is the idea not to ambush at all if it can be helped. But your point stands still in certain cases for sure

Only time it’s ok to use sword is for parrying and story related forced action only in ng+ ofc so you got moon stance from get go
It's a good idea and actually I have tried it before. As far as I can tell, kicks can't kill other than boss fights. On lethal anyway, I don't know about other difficulties or if there's a work around. I do like and appreciate the suggestion tho!

you can use typhoon kick on wind stance to knock down non boss enemy and let's say that ground execution is ok once they're on ground
@@the_jingo Hmm, it's certainly a possibility. I do like it, but then it would be too easy. Either impossible or too easy, ain't that just the way with these things. I'll keep it in mind for sure tho!

Hey you do realise that there is no point doing no armor if you already reset at each hit right? Also criminally underrated
A fair thinking for sure if the armor only provided defense. I should have been more clear in the video probably, but armor provides many benefits such increased damage, stealth, power, and more depending on the armor. So no armor means I get none of that

But I mean better to not use revive to make it better

You need to beat the game like this, except instead of restarting at checkpoints when hit, you restart the game entirely. This isn’t an achievement.

I’m gonna need you to tell me how you came to the pronunciation of Jin’s name that you did and who told you to say it that way, because whoever they are needs to be publicly shamed
Oh no, not again! 😅I have a habit of butchering pronunciation no matter how much I hear something, but I really thought I had Jin's name. Doubling checking, I definitely see the difference tho. My pronunciation I think comes from Senshi Ishikawa(English VA) mainly as I heard him say it ten trillion times and when checking, to me, it sounds the same. Probably mishear tho which I can accept. Tis how it goes
