Zomba's rob is quite suboptimal, I don't know how he is considered a top player. He makes too many rookie timing errors among other egregious mistakes, though that is understandable as this is an online game and not LAN.
Hmmmm I rewound that moment @11:00 a few times and it looks like you started pressing jump in between the last few hits of the rotor arm. So either a) the game counts it as in between frames double jump thus taking your jump. Or b) if you "mash" jump during a multi hit move you get locked out of using jump similar to multiversus move locks which is interesting and makes alot of sense over the years hmmmm
Why doesn’t riddles suicide when he’s up a stock and high percent? I could understand this being for practice so he doesn’t want to, but tournaments too. Is it considered disrespectful?
the direction of kazuya's down-b is controlled to the player with less percent, Sakurai once talked about it if riddles is at 20 and someone else at 50, riddles can kill most characters because he has priority (those who can't come back to stage just die) if riddles is at 120 and someone else was at 10, it's better to just try a normal combo because people can just hold in and not die

Because you want to rack up as much damage as possible before you lose your current stock. Stay in the lead.
Isn't R.O.B. entirely capable of flying back up from suicide depths and surviving?
