VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
After being sent back to America during a long backpacking trip due to the pandemic, Kate and Sam decided to explore locally and bought a shuttle bus named Bessie. They have since converted it into a beautiful home on wheels!
The bus has a chest-style top-loading fridge that is adjustable in temperature, a deep sink, and a Domestic three-burner stove/oven, perfect for the couple who loves to cook. There's also tons of storage, ensuring they have everything they need on their travels. The couch in the living area is long enough to double as a guest bed and has storage underneath. The bus also has a decent-sized garage with backpacking gear, making it perfect for hikers.
They even have a motorcycle named Bruno that they use to explore once the bus is parked or for quick trips to town for groceries! One of the unique features of the bus is the key fob attached to the hydraulic doors, adding an extra layer of security to their home on wheels.

Thanks for being honest about some of the difficulties of van life. Often the videos are all sweetness and wonderful, but there are things that may be very challenging. I'd think one of the biggies is where you can stay or park. After all, it's a vagabond lifestyle so that is totally a major thing.
Tip for those creating their own tiny home/van life video's. Focusing a lot on what is stored where should be minimized. After watching many of these video's that seem to be one of the things that make me want to skip ahead. Keeping things short and concise is often lacking many of these kinds of videos.

You two have done a wonderful job on the bus, I agree about the clutter and trying not to compeat with others , I have found clothing amongst other things I shall never wear or use and have started decluttering. I would love to own a tiny home . Love the cealing in the bus and how bright and airy with those big windows it is. It would be wonderful to be able to travel and not have to pay for a motel room. enjoy your travels and exploring . Ontario Canada.

I really enjoy these video tours very much. ❤ I just wish they would spend 45 - 60 seconds telling us about there battery bank, watts of solar and inverter size. Some videos they do but some short change us.

We make custom window shades specially made for these T Slide Windows, that fold down once to access vents or completely to store! It's a Reflectix lining outside for heat, Havelock Wool stuffed inside for cold, and custom fabric of choice on the inside for style! Let me know if y'all need some!

a lot of us vanlifers clean the dishes with a spray bottle filled with part water and then add one of the following (white vinegar , rubbing alcohol, peroxide) with paper towel

at seventy I still laughed! At seventy I still say "those old folks" and sometimes they are younger than we are! it is a state of mind... I agree with set up and conversion! I was just thinking wouldn't Dutch doors on the wheelchair access be nice?

You have a bus why didnt you build a shower and toilet since you already have a toilet?!!!
I guess this is not a house for them. Just a camper where they can park somewhere with amenities. They even avoid using their composting toilets too as she mentioned.

You must have been in the bathroom when they showed the toilet?
You must not have watched the whole thing. Behind the driver's seat. It's a $100 porta-potty. They also have a shower on the back door. You could also use a bucket. Not everyone has a bathroom.
For me, I'll probably just use a bucket and a portable propane shower like theirs. Then I can get a puppy pool and shower in there. It has a drain on the side.
