    I picked up a used LV1 a few months ago. I used Snagit to capture this helpful video.

    Nice video, John. Don't actually own an LV-1, but if I did, I'd find this extremely helpful and full of great tips.

    Hey I'm pretty sure I own this gun now! I bought it last year from a field owner in Washington State. Clearly it had been custom anno'd as it was like no other Lv1 I had ever seen. I'd really like to know if this was in fact his gun. I found it on a Facebook BST and he sold it because he could no longer play and I had to own everything purple and teal! I definitely need to look into this to confirm if you have the serial number or anything?

    This was very therapeutic to watch as a new lv1 owner. So you only use oil on the rammer and bolt? dow33 for all internal o-rings?

      @Paintballrevolution_official  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, so glad you enjoyed it. You are correct. You never want to use Dow 33 on anything delrin as a general rule so not on the bolt and you also don't want to use it on the rammer, just oil in those two places. It is safe to use Dow 33 on the o-rings that make air seals.

    I know it’s an old vid but I just got my lv1 back from anno and went to put it together and simply can not find the valve that goes into the asa. You mention the assembly of it at 24:01, would love to know where to get one

      That is going to be a specific part, have you tried contacting Planet Eclipse directly?

    Just want to start by saying this is an extremely useful video. I do have a question: how similar is this to assembling an LVR? I know the LV platform has some variances but I wanted to ask before doing anything on my marker. I want to use this as a reference for maintaining my reg, lpr, and solenoid. Mainly the solenoid, but haven't touched the solenoid because I haven't found a good guide video to do it. Thanks!

      Thank you, we are very glad that you found this video useful. Yes, there are a lot of similarities and this video will make a good reference. Also the manual that PE has online has some very good instructions and references as well, I will put a link below. If you run into any issues please feel free to contact us in store and chat with one of our techs. We are always happy to help as best we can..

    I know this is an old vid but I’m sending mine to get ano and I’m trying to get the valve tube off the valve and it’s just impossible to get off. Any help?

    • @Paintballrevolution_official
      @Paintballrevolution_official  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you talking about the clear tube that goes on the barb of the solenoid manifold? If so what we usually do us a use a tiny screw driver or a very sharp o-ring pick to carefully lift and wiggle the tube off the barb. You don't want to just pull, but if you can get the tube to lift a little bit it will slide off the barb. Is this what you are asking about?

    • @brandontucci4605
      @brandontucci4605 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Paintball Revolution yes thank you for the response! I was about to just cut the tube and buy another one!

      Paintball Revolution another question. The lpr cap, does the black rod not come off of it

    • @Paintballrevolution_official
      @Paintballrevolution_official  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@brandontucci4605 Yes, you should be able to simply unscrew that pipe. There is a hole that passes directly through it. You can insert an Allen key into that hole to help give you some leverage, but be gentle and careful not to bend that tool.

    Is there one like this for the cs1.5?

    hey, i was wondering if you did any soldering because i had bought a virtue OLED board for my bob long V1 and the microswitch is crap. it has bad problems firing several shots during single pulls and sometimes mises shots. i bought a new microswitch from ZDSPB but now i cant find anyone who does these services. LMK :-)

    • @Paintballrevolution_official
      @Paintballrevolution_official  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Soldering is a little bit out of our scope and not something we can guarantee. I am sorry we can't help there. You might want to ask someone with more experience with computer parts or circuit boards.

    • @brucecook502
      @brucecook502 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Paintballrevolution_official lol funny you suggest that because my local computer repair store said they would look at it and possibly do it, i just couldnt find any paintball companies who would do it and virtue no longer services their circuit boards im just a bit nervous having a non paintball person messing with this board because the V1 virtue OLED board is net to impossible to find for sale anymore in te case it gets damaged during repair. i need this board because my V1 loves breech bounce chopping when the loader runs dry and this virtue board eliminated those chops completely.

    • @Paintballrevolution_official
      @Paintballrevolution_official  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@brucecook502 If it makes you feel any better, I think a computer store would be a better option. Most paintball locations have little to no experience with circuitry. Usually if we have a bad board or solenoid, we simply replace it. Whereas a computer store deals with circuitry and board repair much more frequently. I know the board is a rare item, but if I were you I would be more comfortable with a professional computer repair company. As long as they are confident about the work, you should be in good hands. Just mention to them that the item is irreplaceable in case they are unsure about their ability.

    • @brucecook502
      @brucecook502 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Paintballrevolution_official i did mention how rare it was and they said they had completed a course for soldering so they had plenty of confidence. i guess ill take it to them
      im just paranoid because the only other time I paid to get my circuit board repaired was when I sent my predator board to predator and they screwed me over so bad it wasnt even funny. It had 9 different color led's and just 2 of the color led's went out, so I sent it to them and they sent me back a damn board that oly had 1 color working. I complained and they told me to send it back, and the 2nd time they sent me back a board that only had 4 colors work, it had weather proof coating sprayed all over it and looked crappy, and the microswitch had black goop pasted al over it. Those bastards kept my board ad sent me other shitty boards Im sure of it. They later scammed hundreds of people who preordered their imaginary cheetah v2 halo boards and dissappeared off the fce of the planet. idk if you ever remember this, but ever since I got screwed by them with that predator board my confidence in having my circuit board fixed is not good, but if I dont at least try and have someone fi it I could never use this n a tournament.

      @@brucecook502 Unfortunately back in the day there were some more unscrupulous business practices in paintball so you are right about that. That being said, it sounds like you have been really cautious and done your homework, I think you should be pretty safe. Let us know how it goes, I feel invested in this story now.
