GOOD NEWS PEEPPOL! Right now i'm working on Battle of Omaha Beach! Like me on Facebook for Behind the scenes pictures: facebook.com/CaptainZachOfficial
At 1:50 it looks like he kills the German soldier only to continue to gun down his own men. Love the film, and I know that the Russian soldier doesn't gun down his own men, but I found the prospect humorous.
Wow dude this is awesome! The sound effects and animation is really smooth. And this is your second video and this looks so good compared to what others can in their second animation, good job!
Pros: - Animation was good. - Figurines were good. - Set was well made. - Very good portrayal of how a person who surrenders isn't safe. - After the fist fight the way he opened to door to be hit by a bullet was good, shows you the stupidity of choices as well as their unexpected results. Cons: - The balance of individual / group tactics seems to be off. ---> Germans were not very good at hand to hand fighting, but at a distance - aka shooting , they were deadly. I think this aspect could have been portrayed more in a way to show what the newbies of the Red army were up against - the veterans of the European campaigns. - The bazooka was American, while it looked good otherwise it did catch my attention. - The shooting didn't seem fully natural at times, mostly at the 3:10 mark. Often soldiers even then shot in bursts. Yes, nowadays we shoot in 2-4 bullet bursts and then we may see a 4-7 bullet burst, but a burst nethertheless. Of course: A) In close combat shooting may be crazy - 10-30 bullets in one go, but ||| B) Often you have trigger happy soldiers and conservative soldiers, so showing the mix of soldiers shooting at everything and those who seem to be trying to aim at only viable targets would be interesting and in my view - more realistic. ___________________________________________________________ Questions: 1) Where'd you get the Mosins from? 2) How big was your set? a) How many baseplates? b) how many buildings? 3) How many German/Soviet minifigures were used in the making of the animation? --- each. ___________________________________________________________ I otherwise enjoyed the animation and will proceed to watch your other videos. I just wanted to leave a few of my personal comments of what you did well and the things that I think could have been done better - but hey, what you did even with my view on the tactics, bazooka, and shooting patterns impressed me. Good job man. 9.1k likes + 1.
I'm really looking forward to that! Especially since you are this good at stop motion! There really are no good Battle of the Bulge stop motions yet, so it better be good!
P.I.O.T not P.I.L.O.T also it was multi use also it was only used by the UK also it was not created until 1943 learn what your talking about please please
You earned yourself a subscriber. You should consider putting music in the background. If you're making a video on the Siege of Leningrad, you could consider using Shostakovich's Symphony 7 Mvmt. 1 :) I hope to see more!
The Germans did not have bazookas, they had faustpatrones or panzershreks, and where did you see country houses in Stalingrad, there were only high-rise buildings
I am very impressed with this video! Just by seeing this video, i can see you have a lot of potential and i will subscribe in the hope you will make many more! Good Job and keep it up!
Echt gut geworden, war sicher sehr viel Arbeit aber das sieht man sofort, also hat es sich ja gelohnt :) Its a very good video, but its many work. It's a great animated video and this can you see :) (Srry my English isn't the best) ^^
ok when i was watching this i couldn't stop laughing at the German machine gunner who had that cheesy crushing grin, like he was so proud of himself. The animation was pretty good I've noticed that every WW2 Lego Movie I've seen every side seems to have a hero unit, US had Sgt Winterbottom, Russians have Capt. Noskov, the Germans the (unnamed) guy who stood up the SS execution order given to them. I haven't seen any other heroes yet in the vast videos out there but these are always interesting to me. I think a battle of Berlin would be interesting especially of they showed the German 12th army holding the line to evacuate the civilians and the 9th army to the west across the river.(see Sabaton's song called Hearts of Iron to understand what I'm talking about. ) or perhaps a battle of Kursk. I just find it awesome that all sides seem to have their heroes in some form or another. Its not just the west against the Germans or the Russians against the Germans its a nice balance.
TheGamingBehe I already know JSLegomaster invented the character. My point in my statement was all sides in all the Lego world war 2 movies i have seen have heroes which have been invented by the person creating the film.
this video has some inaccurancys (germans using american "bazooka", and others) but its still very good video and i know what it takes to make something like this, GG
Overall... Fantastic... just one little historical nitpick... The Germans didn't have the Panzerschreck until September 1943, 9 months after Stalingrad wrapped up...
GOOD NEWS PEEPPOL!

I aplaud this work in so many different ways.
I always love these these lego war scenes. Credz to the maker for putting in all that time and effort.

Questions:
1) Where'd you get the Mosins from?
2) How big was your set?
a) How many baseplates?
b) how many buildings?
3) How many German/Soviet minifigures were used in the making of the animation? --- each.

I otherwise enjoyed the animation and will proceed to watch your other videos.

2:15 That was actually pretty accurate of what would probably happen if you ran into the middle of a crossfire hip firing a SMG.
All most like being there...poor little lego men, why cant we all just get along
That bazooka should have been a panzerfaust. Great video though dude.
They both hadn't been existing at 1942.
P.I.O.T not P.I.L.O.T also it was multi use also it was only used by the UK also it was not created until 1943 learn what your talking about please please

The Germans did not have bazookas, they had faustpatrones or panzershreks, and where did you see country houses in Stalingrad, there were only high-rise buildings
