I use the Logitech G602 and the wheel has 2 buttons rite below it that locks it and the other one locks it and its an easy click I love the Logitech mouse with a crap load of programmable keys on the side and the top by the left and right main keys. But I luv to click the lock and the wheel scrolls forever till I lock it again. Since I found this one it puts others to shame I have had.
I have no clue how you play as well as you do while also providing accurate, helpful and running commentary... I know you've got a few hours invested but still.... Damn impressive
I am quite good at the game, Spooktoonz level. But theres a BIG difference between them and me: As soon as i am not 100% laser focused or i am talking i get demolished. I am literally unable to do what they do. Talking properly, with substancial commentary and playing well at the same time is hard af.
If you ever want an adjustable Mouse check out MadCats R.A.T. 8+ I had to exchange my logitech mouce causing tendonitis to my und under arm due to some kind of excessive gaming sessions.. The "R.A.T." solved the problem...
The Challenger 2 should have spall liner pretty much everywhere in game, all along the lower hull sides and LFP, all along the hull bottom, completely encapsulating the turret crew as well, and the turret should have composite in the sides and rear of the turret as well

The A7 is such a jump over the A6 in terms of protection and firepower. They look similar, but the A7V is so much more advanced with its gun, armor and barrel. Crazy machines. The A8 with APS will be another insane jump.
As a newer and semi-decent player, it's really helpful to me when you explain your resoning behind all of the things you so in battle, moving positions, whether or not to take shots, etc. My positional awareness isnt great, so to see how a veteran player uses map and scouting information to make a decision on how to move forward with a battle is really helpful. Being able to see good habits in gameplay and learn to implement those strategies and habits in my own gameplay is really helpful.
Every Leopard had spall liners since the 2 A5. So idk why gaijin has only added them now with the new vehicles rather than with most of the ones that have been in game this update
3:50 the logitech g502 x plus has a button to turn infinite scrolling on and off, it is a model with several buttons to configure macros and some important controls that can be useful in WT and its model comes from the g502 hero that was a best-selling mouse in the world a few years ago

Why not to add to dedicated manualy loaded tanks an upgrade like heavy balistic protection gear to the crew or at least for the loader so the loader doesn't get much damage and thus the reload speed remains almost the same even after being hit?

A meaningless hull armor buff that will get penned by anything at your own BR, and even some tanks tanks in a down tier won’t make it “better”. All this hollering will do is get the UFP (which is unrealistically bouncing things it shouldn’t, & isn’t even lining up with the state of the art simulation even in events where shells bounce, as in game they don’t kill your turret ring, and breech instantly after deflecting, like they do in the armor sims) NERFED, then the entire hull will be a technical GREEN ZONE for high grade APFSDS. Which I DONT WANT, I want the armor to be trolly, not predictable, and pen-able all around. It has a play style, if you refuse to use it, the Abrams won’t vibe with you. I’m seeing all these 12+ kill & Nuke matches in the Abrams tanks, & have to think that some players just want things easy. Everyone will just aim for your breech, and HE the roof anyway.
I am glad that when I maneuver around the battlefield, its not in 3rd person view but through the optics. Me being a retired Abrams Crewmember, I do a fender to fender scan for targets. the only thing I dont like the thermals in War Thunder is the fact that it doesnt replicate the exact thermal system you would use on an Abrams. You definitely can distinguish a tank in a treeline alot more than what you see in game. Also, as a tank crew, you always move in either sections (two tanks) or a platoon (four tanks) You guys can conduct a hasty defense while making your way to the objective. and when moving as a section, one holds position and scans for targets while the other one moves to find a better battle postion (BP).
is this why all premade squads are always two people then? for these sections (battle buddies sound better hand cannon wise) its making a lotta sense if thats the case, now if only the randoms could ever be decent and/or my couple friends I play with wanna play it more often than we end up doing lmao

funny that the 122B managed to become even more op because of the spall liner, and the 122B+ should be even more survivable than it is, because of it having a stronger NERA internally, like hte 2a4 evolution rather than the exact same as the 122B
Exact opposite for me with the logitech G502. I actually tried several other mice after my old G502 was finally at a point where I could no longer justify using it, although still not broken after 8 years or so, but I just couldn't get used to them, in part because of the infinite-scroll mouse wheel. It's just so ingrained into my routine that not having it gave me withdrawal, so I ended up buying the G502 lightspeed.
Razer mice like mine also have infinite scroll which can be adjusted. I don't recommend them for longevity(the rubber pads on mine disintegrated in 2 years) or the horrid software but it might be worth a try

I just tried different stuff, especially with the super lightweight mice that have become more prominent in recent years, but was reminded in the end that I'd rather just stick to this. I also tried the Razer equivalent to the G502, but I preferred having more buttons and as you said, the software was somehow even worse than GHub.

Ive had a corsair mouse of some kind and shape (its been so long I legitimately dont remember) that has never once had issues besides the custom lighting never staying right because the lighting control app on my MSi laptop refuses to run on start even with it selected to due so, I like how weighted and sturdy it feels and has a nice feeling towards it, with my only true complaint being I wish I knew how to properly clean it has definitely seen better days in the entire 5 years Ive had it

The G502X has a toggle switch for the infinite scroll wheel and it's a pretty deliberate button to press so you won't have to worry about the wheel going weird on you (and I think GHUB lets you disable it entirely?)

Probably not gonna be seen but you should play either the Challenger 2 oes with era,a top .50 cal,and extra composite on the lower front plate or the tech tree challenger 3 with a l55 and stock sabot.

well I personally love the infinite Mouse wheel on Logitech Mice. It´s just a nice thing to have because it makes it possible to quickly reset the target distance or th thrust. Of course you stilll need to put it back into clicky mode which even I forget sometimes. Even though I use it daily.
logitech g502 owner here, with the scroll wheel in locked mode its never a bother, i use middle click for spotting and the side clicks for sight settings.

The problem came along with volumetric is that, when your round hits the armour. It compare which number is greater, the effective of armour and the shell of penetrates over the distance. The problem after the upgrade of volumetric is War Thunder make the rounds a little bigger, so that when the round hit. It wouldn’t hit the gap between armour plates. Before volumetric, if your round hit the gap, it will penetrate no matter how thick the armour. So how war thunder fix this? It changed the equation when your shell hit the gaps between armour plates. Instead of average the number between different plates, it made an addition between the armour plates you hit. That’s why the glass of drivers port, the gap of turret rings, thin side shirt of a Panther . They won’t penetrate sometimes. Because the round hit plates and they added all up. The worst case scenario when your round hit a round turret vehicle between the gap of 4 armour plates. It wouldn’t be possible to be penetrated. Because according to the equation the effectiveness of the armour would be over 1000mm. That’s no way it would penetrate, even that is a WW2 vehicle.
I played a sim match the other day in the t80um2 (I rarely play above 10.3) and blasted one of these three times in the side before getting swarmed by his teammates, I was so confused
AFAIK most Logitech Gaming Mice have a small button behind the scroll wheel that you can use to choose between infinite or "normal slotted" mousewheel function, at least that's how my G903 functions, i use the mousewheel "button" in Ready or Not to command AI Teammates as an example
4:01 fyi, the logitech mouses with the infinite mouse scroll have a setting that completely disables this. My personal favourite mouse is the master 3s def worth checking out👍
To be honest, as someone who saw a lot of top tier plays but isn't at top tier yet, this is a huge improvement into the good way. Of course the spall liner should be a bit nerfed because that's ridiculous but it's a good addition into the game in my opinion. I want to play and not just driving for 3 minutes to get one shot across the map while I grind to the APFSDS when I get there
Don't fall for it! It may look fun but it's honestly far from it. Remember, OddBaws had to play a bunch to get these few good battles on film. It's rather overwhelming and dull tbh. Think of an arcade fps, just point and shoot, armor don't really matter, it boils down to who see who first. Major let down when I finally got there.
For mouse you should get a Razer Basilisk V3, theres a button that lets you swap between a free scroll and an incremental. Its been amazing for quick ranging in experience.
if youre unsure about getting a logitech for the free scroll wheel thing then you can get the Razer deathadder V3 (or the Dav3 as the community calls it) instead you can use it plugged in or wireless if you prefer and its a normal scroll wheel too i can say this from experience since i tried both of the brands but still things like this also depend on what mouse shape is comfortable for you
Not really, the armor isn't noticeably better. On paper it's slightly better but not to an extent you'd notice in game. The STRV has a worse round worse gun, worse thermals, gen 1... So it comes down to one's slightly faster and has a worse gun and round, and the other one is a bit slower with a better gun and round, and thermals.
Oddly, you gotta make a video on the Cromwell RP3. that thing is fun af with neutral steering and for big panick rockets that can murder heavies all at br 3.3
Those xmas boxes have gotten me around 12 000+ in GE Total of 27 boxes bought and around a total of 40 000 ge worth of silver/premium days and tanks. In fact the first 10 chests got me Leonardo da Vinci and sms nassau. The silver Lions chest you should buy them for the boosters.... Not anything else

Spall liners is one of the many reasons I dont play top tier ground. It's practically constantly trying to make your experience as painful as possible.
If you don't mind a big price tag for a mouse I can recommend the LG g502 X plus Lightspeed. You can manually switch between a rigid or free spinning mouse wheel and the button for that can't accidentally be pressed.
I don't get it. Everybody is complaining about Germany. Nobody talks about Sweden, which practically have the Leo 2A7V since ages, just with the 120mm L/44 which still is an amazing gun. They have been strong since ages and now all the strv 122 recieved a full spall liner. Where are the people complaining about them? Can't be about the L/55 which is only insignificantly better, can it? Imo all the stuff around "Germany OP", or the complains about the US mains considering the Abrams is pure bs.

At some point there has to be a sort of situation where armor is perfect against one thing but useless against another and it can't be effective against both at the same time.
Were at that point to a small extent as aphe will still go through the sides of this and explode on the other side of the spell liner killing the whole crew. Sadly nothing uses aphe at this tier so my point is mute unless your confident with a tiger 2

If you need a new mouse the G502 lightspeed wireless is fantastic, I have one and you can lock the scroll wheel to increments for MMB clicking. I think my MMB max scroll wheel are the same controls as yours Odd, seeing as I essentially copied you and it’s very easy to play well with it. Hope this helps you :)

I currently have the razer basilisk v3 its pretty much the same mouse but made to be better than the logitech one. you can program the mouse quite a bit and the infinite scrollwheel can be activated by a button or if you want to by fast scrolling.

Tbh, the leopard 2a7 is very good, but the Strv122B+ is better imo.
It has more armor and it weights less if my memory is right.
2A7V is heavier by about just 1 ton.

The G502X has a toggle switch for the infinite scroll wheel and it's a pretty deliberate button to press so you won't have to worry about the wheel going weird on you (and I think GHUB lets you disable it entirely?)
Isn’t it a hardware toggle? My G502 physically unlocks the ratcheting mechanism, I don’t think you can disable it in software.
@@lbgstzockt8493 I know it's a hardware toggle, that's I'm 100% certain on. I haven't touched GHUB since I set it up for the RGB like...a year ago so haven't a clue otherwise haha

How would you even be able to use a hardware function within software if there are no actuators you can trigger inside the software that do the hardware thing?! ... cmon.
hence why I said "I think" as an aside for the software side. And the hardware button does just fine in making sure it's ratcheting and not a free "frictionless" wheel by mistake

all the uptier matches have seen a big uptick of rushing to spawncamp. probably due to the event grind.
The logitech pro x superlight is awesome. No infinite scroll and the weight is just insanely low which is very nice for long gaming sessions.

Probably not gonna be seen but you should play either the Challenger 2 oes with era,a top .50 cal,and extra composite on the lower front plate or the tech tree challenger 3 with a l55 and stock sabot.

well I personally love the infinite Mouse wheel on Logitech Mice. It´s just a nice thing to have because it makes it possible to quickly reset the target distance or th thrust. Of course you stilll need to put it back into clicky mode which even I forget sometimes. Even though I use it daily.

logitech g502 owner here, with the scroll wheel in locked mode its never a bother, i use middle click for spotting and the side clicks for sight settings.

The problem came along with volumetric is that, when your round hits the armour. It compare which number is greater, the effective of armour and the shell of penetrates over the distance.
The problem after the upgrade of volumetric is War Thunder make the rounds a little bigger, so that when the round hit. It wouldn’t hit the gap between armour plates. Before volumetric, if your round hit the gap, it will penetrate no matter how thick the armour.
So how war thunder fix this? It changed the equation when your shell hit the gaps between armour plates. Instead of average the number between different plates, it made an addition between the armour plates you hit.
That’s why the glass of drivers port, the gap of turret rings, thin side shirt of a Panther . They won’t penetrate sometimes. Because the round hit plates and they added all up.
The worst case scenario when your round hit a round turret vehicle between the gap of 4 armour plates. It wouldn’t be possible to be penetrated. Because according to the equation the effectiveness of the armour would be over 1000mm. That’s no way it would penetrate, even that is a WW2 vehicle.

AFAIK most Logitech Gaming Mice have a small button behind the scroll wheel that you can use to choose between infinite or "normal slotted" mousewheel function, at least that's how my G903 functions, i use the mousewheel "button" in Ready or Not to command AI Teammates as an example
4:01 fyi, the logitech mouses with the infinite mouse scroll have a setting that completely disables this. My personal favourite mouse is the master 3s def worth checking out👍

To be honest, as someone who saw a lot of top tier plays but isn't at top tier yet, this is a huge improvement into the good way. Of course the spall liner should be a bit nerfed because that's ridiculous but it's a good addition into the game in my opinion. I want to play and not just driving for 3 minutes to get one shot across the map while I grind to the APFSDS when I get there
Don't fall for it! It may look fun but it's honestly far from it. Remember, OddBaws had to play a bunch to get these few good battles on film. It's rather overwhelming and dull tbh. Think of an arcade fps, just point and shoot, armor don't really matter, it boils down to who see who first. Major let down when I finally got there.

For mouse you should get a Razer Basilisk V3, theres a button that lets you swap between a free scroll and an incremental. Its been amazing for quick ranging in experience.
if youre unsure about getting a logitech for the free scroll wheel thing then you can get the Razer deathadder V3 (or the Dav3 as the community calls it) instead you can use it plugged in or wireless if you prefer and its a normal scroll wheel too i can say this from experience since i tried both of the brands but still things like this also depend on what mouse shape is comfortable for you

Not really, the armor isn't noticeably better. On paper it's slightly better but not to an extent you'd notice in game. The STRV has a worse round worse gun, worse thermals, gen 1...
So it comes down to one's slightly faster and has a worse gun and round, and the other one is a bit slower with a better gun and round, and thermals.
Logitech mouse like G502 Lightspeed has lock for wheel so you can choose if you want it free spinning or ticking

Spall liners is one of the many reasons I dont play top tier ground. It's practically constantly trying to make your experience as painful as possible.
If you don't mind a big price tag for a mouse I can recommend the LG g502 X plus Lightspeed.
You can manually switch between a rigid or free spinning mouse wheel and the button for that can't accidentally be pressed.

I don't get it. Everybody is complaining about Germany. Nobody talks about Sweden, which practically have the Leo 2A7V since ages, just with the 120mm L/44 which still is an amazing gun. They have been strong since ages and now all the strv 122 recieved a full spall liner. Where are the people complaining about them? Can't be about the L/55 which is only insignificantly better, can it?

At some point there has to be a sort of situation where armor is perfect against one thing but useless against another and it can't be effective against both at the same time.
Were at that point to a small extent as aphe will still go through the sides of this and explode on the other side of the spell liner killing the whole crew. Sadly nothing uses aphe at this tier so my point is mute unless your confident with a tiger 2

If you need a new mouse the G502 lightspeed wireless is fantastic, I have one and you can lock the scroll wheel to increments for MMB clicking. I think my MMB max scroll wheel are the same controls as yours Odd, seeing as I essentially copied you and it’s very easy to play well with it.

I currently have the razer basilisk v3 its pretty much the same mouse but made to be better than the logitech one. you can program the mouse quite a bit and the infinite scrollwheel can be activated by a button or if you want to by fast scrolling.
Dude that's insane. You don't even aim for a (weak) spot or something you just shoot and they die. I really wish to get to the top tier very soon but the new update making you have to buy all researched vehicles made things harder.
