I realized it a while ago. It throws off my whole week when he's gone, and every time he leaves I realize how much the other guys suck. The Jimmies especially, but Colbert's turning into a shill and is so cringey sometimes. His "Is potato" started off as a fun inside joke, and now it reminds me of that Ricky Gervais show where producer character was trying to get Ricky's character to turn "Are you havin' a laugh?" into a catch phrase.

I love how this ended. The "Corrections" energy is leaking into the broadcast segments more & more. And, frankly, I think its for the better. Other Late Night shows edit everything to look so polished & perfect. Seth acknowledges that not every joke is going to hit and that's okay. It makes his show feel more authentic in a way.
I think it makes this show unique and down to earth, being open about the jokes sometimes failing. It makes him feel more honest, humble, and relatable.

I think that subsidies for electric cars was the right thing for governments to do. I wasn't really into his style, but I was desperate for some more Late Night when Colbert would have his off-days, and now I really enjoy Seth's style. He does THE best Trump impression than anybody I've ever heard (at least in Late Night). Trump is not an easy guy to emulate and Seth nails all his nuances.

All the current late night show hosts are good in their own way and styles. Kimmel, Colbert, Meyers and Fallon. Samantha Bee and Trevor are also good. I'm not so much into James Cordon, but I love Bill Maher and John Oliver.
Seth has picked up where Jon Stewart left off on the daily show a long time ago. I think late night is even better because there is a gentleness and a light heartedness that wasn’t at TDS.

"Equilibrium" is an awesome movie to watch while on shrooms. But more importantly, I'm glad that Seth finally called these powerful rich men "oligarchs". They need to be called out for it in order to simplify the problem that they are to a precise label for their behavior so more people can be unified... and "oligarch" is fitting and completely accurate. It's also a term that can be boiled down to meaning an oppressor by means of unlimited wealth and more people could easily understand that without getting into more scary details immediately. Americans like things simple like that. And it invokes this pretty negative feeling that more people should be having towards capitalist oppression.

I think that subsidies for electric cars was the right thing for governments to do.

I wasn't really into his style, but I was desperate for some more Late Night when Colbert would have his off-days, and now I really enjoy Seth's style. He does THE best Trump impression than anybody I've ever heard (at least in Late Night). Trump is not an easy guy to emulate and Seth nails all his nuances.

All the current late night show hosts are good in their own way and styles. Kimmel, Colbert, Meyers and Fallon. Samantha Bee and Trevor are also good. I'm not so much into James Cordon, but I love Bill Maher and John Oliver.

Seth's become an outrageously great host. The writing and editing and everything else is always good-to-great, but he's just freaking *killing* it.
Seth has picked up where Jon Stewart left off on the daily show a long time ago. I think late night is even better because there is a gentleness and a light heartedness that wasn’t at TDS.
They’re both modern day folk heroes.
Seth is more intimate with the audience and leans in to the bad jokes and awkward moments. Plus, it helps that both jimmies are trash.
