Loveeeeee having fun with color in my wardrobe since our consultation! The guess work is completely taken out now that I know what works for me and even how to wear colors that aren’t necessarily my “best” but I still want to wear! Thanks signe! ❤❤ 👑
I took two off her classes . Best decision ever. 1- I take my time when shopping 2- buy the colors that goes with my color consultation book 3- receiving many complaints on my clothes. But the best is how wonderful she is, so professional and caring. I highly recommend it
When I saw the thumbnail, I though "not nearly enough color for me!" But I heard you our and your thoughts towards the end helped me see why we have a different standard for a "colorful" wardrobe. My coloring is deep, cool, soft, so a wardrobe with greater contrast works for me. Since your primary coloring trait is soft, more muted colors work well for you, making your wardrobe colorful, but not as intense or contrasting as I prefer mine. That's what I concluded, anyway, after hearing your pointers.
I love that you’re doing videos from that chair again Signe. You used to do a lot of them in your old house & the videos had such a relaxed vibe. Thanks for the video.
I love your positive and thoughtful approach to the subject. I think it’s like etiquette, it lets you relax and enjoy other people because you know what to do. How to dress should be a required class.
I’m not a minimalist, but I am an intentionalist (or would be if this was a proper word, not one I just made up!). In the last few months, I have been trimming down my wardrobe to those colors, fabrics and styles that I really love and moving out the So-Sos. I buy every item much more carefully and intentionally now, and put together every outfit with intention, too. I’ve never had a wardrobe I love half as much as my current one, it’s paying big dividends for me, thanks for all your great advice, dear Signe. There’s not a ton of things trending this season for us Summer-coloring gals, except some nice lighter blues and greens, and a few cool neutrals like taupe, which I always love. Nor is there much for us classic-style gals, but I don’t need much, either. The next thing I will do for my wardrobe is to upgrade the quality of my blazers, I’m finally seeng a few without the polyester linings I hate so much. I’ve also been waiting for fitted-waist, more tailored ones to become available, I really hate the huge, square, baggy oversized-blazer trend. A few tailored ones are finally trickling onto the market. I hope this is the last season we will see enormous, square blazers! I don’t especially want to have the shape of a linebacker, I leave that to men.
I enjoyed this a lot. I’m under the weather at the moment so will watch again when I am feeling better. Well done, Signe from a fan in the States…🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️
Your channel has inspired me to be intentional with my wardrobe. I created a simple but effective capsule wardrobe and I love it. I also like how kind you are when communicating content. Thanks Signe for this video. ❤
I'm starting to notice that when I find clothes that are a lighter shade in contrast to my natural Asian skin tone, it just doesn't look good on me. The only exception to this is when I become very tan in the summer time. This definitely takes the guesswork out of knowing what feels right on me and what doesn't, so with the way my wardrobe is laid out now, a lot of what I'm becoming drawn to is beige, chocolate brown, tan or black. Btw, I really love how you broke these points down in a way that's easy to understand, Signe! Thank you for making such high quality content on the varying aspects of slow fashion 😊
Wonderful content as always! I'm fairly minimal and have not brought in much color until more recently. As a warm neutral I love a soft rose color and found a warm pink cropped blazer for this spring that I'm know I'm going to get a lot of wear out of. I think it will bring a fresh vitality to my wardrobe for the new season!
I have the exact same red striped shirt from Isabel Marant and I love it, even though it's not my ideal colour (I'm a cool winter type). It looks lovely on you!
This video is just what I need . I have my color wallet from you and it is really helping. I have just started the MasterClass and am SO impressed. Keep going!
Good point that prints with prints would be a maximalist style. Those who wear the two or three patterns at once… I love it on them. I love how bold and daring it is. I would never wear something like that, but appreciate those that do.
I love colors and prints. I also love neutral hues. In recent years I try to not dress monotone but use quirky bags, hats, jewelry that are colorful to break the meh. Or I’d keep everything neutral except one piece of garment. I love using kelly green, barbie pink, peacock blue, neon yellow with taupe, walnut, latte, and camel.
I looove the chart at 3:36, makes it so easy to grasp the principles 🙏🏻🤩 not that it helps me personally because I feel like I have completely neutral colouring, if I had to pick a place on each of the 3 diagrams I would pick the middle on all 3… is there such a colour type?😅
Hi Szilvia. Yes, neutral colour types are quite common but that’s more in terms of undertone (warm/cool). But I bet you would still have something about your colouring that would be more dominant 😊 you can read through this post I made last week, maybe it will help explain how the tonal system works: instagram.com/p/CoVOgV-ord4/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= xx Signe ❤️
I am not a minimalist, but I dress simply and I would define my style as simple modern chic. Re: neutral colours, I love chocolate brown, dusty pink and brown pink.
On the surface I look to have similar colouring to you, but I think you have a cool undertone a mine is slightly warm. Softer neutrals and muted colours just don't work on me. Dresing in clearer colours is more difficult to put together well. Advice on styling aqua, green and coral pink would be appreciated.
You are a great stylist. I really like your approach on fashion and sustainability. I need to practice that more. Where did you learn colour analysis? I'm very interested in learning it, but I don't think I can learn it in Iceland so I know I would have to find it elsewhere. Is it tought online maybe?
You have found such amazing pieces, Signe! The colors and the quality of the items really shine. This is an amazing video that I could watch again and again. Probably because I do Pilates while watching the Sunday TH-cam drops. 🧘
Minimalism, in my day, meant that one did with as little as possible. Of course, some idiots wanting to sell minimalism to those who wanted more, had to find an emotional message to peg it on.

You are the best in minimalism. I had all the pieces in my closet according to your suggestions of a capsule wardrobe. Greetings from NY❤

Love this- I feel like this is such a nice balance.
Glad you defined Basics. That was a good idea. I now have a better thought about my own basics. 😊

We use the Munsell color system, which Color Me Beautiful, in science and engineering a lot, too.
Signe you look lovely in your striped blouse. Thank you for your tips and ideas.❤
Great content, loved this thank you!

Such a great video! Lots of good advice… can you do the colour analysis from far away? I am in Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you! Yes, I do offer a couple virtual ones as well 😍 you can read more here: www.uselesswardrobe.dk/colour-consultations/

Thank you so much! I took my training via Colour Me Beautiful, they’re based in the UK ❤️🙏🏻 they have a training academy! Signe xx
@@UseLess_dk CMB was the first and still are the best, IMO. I had mine done by them 40 years ago and the analyst did a great job for me.

Hej Stolen der står i baggrunden med skind i, hvilke mærke er det?
Hej Liselotte. Det ved jeg faktisk ikke, vi købte den tilbage i 2015. Tror faktisk bare den er købt i et byggemarked 😊
hi liselotte, if you search for 'Acapulco chair' you might find a similar one.
