The best thing a friend has EVER shared with me --- his love of Nothing But Thieves. I have been listening/watching, for years, now. We wanted to see them in Minneapolis, but then COVID happened. If I ever get a chance to see them live, I will make it happen. The best. Love everything they have done, so far. Can't wait to see what they do next and next and next, forever.

I really prefer this version of Welcome to the DCC, I feel like you can hear the guitars more clearly and they sound a bit heavier which tends to happen with live performances. I wasn't totally into the song at first, but this made me like it a lot more

Anyone thinking that Connor was speaking down to the audience when he called them "regular people" certainly missed the point. Connor has talked about how the fame has made him feel like an imposter and out of his element as he is just a regular lad from Essex. When he said that he meant that he was happy to be with his people, regular people he can relate to.
I recently heard nothing but thieves, one of their songs kept being playedon the radio, which was brilliant. I found out who sang it, and i got the album.

Without a doubt one of my favorite performances of theirs, the sound is perfect and I love the small arrangements and improvisations that differentiate it from the one recorded on the album and that make the song special. I also like the climate that can be perceived, it must have been lucky to hear it there live and how I would have liked to be there. And everyone's body posture, especially Conor's, completely immersed in the music and feeling every lyric he sings. I love his voice, his style and his small movements, letting himself be carried away by the great musicians who accompany him instrumentally. I hope the sky sounds something like this 🕯️💙

I discovered these guys years ago just after Amsterdam was released and all these years later i rediscovered them and we are off to see them in Stockholm end of January. We will be the oldest people in the crowd but who cares. Bucket list ticked

i really hope so. when i heard them live for the first few times (debut album tour), he was basically just showing off his voice for two hours straight. for a few years now he seems to have lost some power and trouble vocalizing at the end of longer lines/holding tones

@@victer115 don’t know if this was meant for me but yes, I didn’t mean drink as in alcohol! I know he always has a ginger tea on the go but he doesn’t usually drink as much of it. Hopefully Cashue is right about it being their first live gig for a while. I don’t know when it was recorded but I guess it must have been before Radio 1’s big weekend last week - he sounded great then!
