Man, me and my wife think you're the nicest, coolest man on the Internet. And now you're touring Italy 🇮🇹. We are loving your travels. We did much of that trip 3 years ago, it's such a blast eh? Florence, trains, Rome, Venice, water taxis, the wine tasting etc. Lovely family big man, much love from Scotland. Alan and Wilma x
Thank you so much for your video's. It's as if I was transported back to Italy and remembering the sights, smells and food all over again. It brings a smile to my face.
What a wonderful and beautiful experience that you’re experiencing right now that is such a gift and thank you for sharing it with us on TH-cam please tell your family we all said hi and enjoy the rest of your trip🤠
I love that you're all experiencing the magic of Venice!! Watching this makes me want to break out my photo album (remember those?!) 😂 of when we went many years ago! It is my favorite place I've ever visited! (We also went in November, less crowds, great food, wonderful people! ❤️
What a fantastic video, again! So many wonderful things. From your choice of music during the canal trip, to the wondrously detailed filming of the cathedral/basilica. But most of all, the little intimate details of your family traveling with you. It really makes us all feel like we're on the journey with you. There's nothing like coming home from work here in rainy Seattle to settle into one of your videos that transport me by your side to travel the wonders of Italy. Thank you. Sincerely.
Aawww Venice is my favourite place in Italy 🥰🥰 everyone should go visit just once in their lives. It's so unique! It's like time stopped in the 1500s there. I'm glad you got a chance to go.
Hi Jamal, i'm happy you are here in Italy with your family, enjoy the rest of your vacation, i hope you will remember this places when you turn back in the USA! Good luck for everything🍀
The Doges' Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the Rialto, the Venetian glass factory, Burano where they make the lace....so much to do and see. Love the gondala ride and your choice of music. So glad your father-in-law took the ride. You have such a great narrating voice! Happy travels! I've only been there in the heat of the summer.
Jamal, really enjoyed your gondola ride footage, probably the best footage so far from your trip, both the visuals and the music. That was an excellent gondola route. Nice footage from St. Mark's Basilica too. You choose great music for your video clips, and are able to do it fast on a daily basis. The place where you guys had dinner is just a few steps away from the language school where I've done three intensive Italian courses since 2019! That square is called Campo Santa Margherita.
So beautiful, Jamel. So happy for you and your family that you all got to make this trip together. I'm feeling nothing but love in these videos, and the great music only enhances all of it. Safe travels! 💙✌💙
16:43! We stayed at the hotel right next to the Greek church, soo long ago!! Ah, memories! Nice to see that view again! How beautiful is Venice! How awesome is your vacation! I'm all teary eyed! Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy! ❤️❤️❤️
i love your videos. Fantastic that you made it to St. Marks cathedral. for me the most beautiful church. if you see this art made in times without computers, electricity, machines.. all handcrafted.. fantastic.
Ah, Venice is SO beautiful. Every corner you turn brings you to another picture perfect view. Everyone should have a chance to go to Venice at some point in their life
Take advantage of the glass blowing known to Venice, as well as purchasing Venetian glass beads as necklaces and bracelets. Thank you for your tour and love your music. Also, thanks for taking me into the cathedral, because when I was there in 89 to embark on a cruise, they wouldn’t allow me in because I was wearing a summer dress without sleeves. It was a hot day, so I was dressed for the weather, but I didn’t know I had to cover my arms.
14 days of riding...wow. That's an excellent exercise. Walking so many miles tones the body and much more the mind, especially with this magnificent landscape around. So enjoy it.
Wow, what an adventure, Jamal! Riding with a Gondola through all these historical bridges...like Madonna did in her offical music video "Like a Virgin" mid 80s!!😊😊 Enjoy your breathtaking italian trip with your lovely fam! 💞 All these STUNNING historical, cultural and culinary moments... I live in europe but i'm a little bit envious of your magical experience....😁 Your sound- and videoediting is simply georgeous‼️ Thank you sooo much to share all your great impressions with your youtube channel family! Perhaps see you next time in germany?
Venezia is really a heritage for us all. I wish I will be there! Maybe the nicest city in the world. I'm so happy you can visit Europe, specially Italy, and see our lifestyle. For it will be great memories for you!
Don't miss Murano & Burano!!! There are many spots to visit in Venice and even if this is not the best period to visit this city I hope you'll enjoy it!!
Wow this journey with you and your family has been amazing and beautiful 🤗 the food looks very delicious and I love Italian food. Much love to you all and be safe.
I hope you all had a romantic time on those boats with the bright blue sea. I love the old school rustic buildings along with the fine details of the marble on pillars in the church. That a nice contrast of old and new.
Brother as an Italian you need to share more your impression and opinion of what you are experiencing, I love seeing the reactions of 1st timers in Italy 😁 enjoy the rest of the trip
I have always wanted to go to Italy and of course take cooking lessons from each region. Was just watching Somebody Feed Phil in Venice. He makes looking out for and trying new foods look like so much fun!
When you first said you were going to start making vlogs I was not particularly thrilled. I'm used to vlogs of ppl just babbling on. lol I still subbed but I have to tell you that these vacation videos are the most amazing vacation videos I have ever seen. The buildings, the history it's just all awesome. Thank you for taking us along with you and your family.
Love the video of the gondola ride with the music, Jamel. I'm really enjoying your travels and the food makes me hungry. 😋 The bookshop was cool. Incredible cathedral.
One of the things I love about going to Europe is that you spend a lot of time walking/exploring and working off calories, so you don't have to worry much about about what food you eat. I usually end up losing weight. The bad thing about Europe is that you spend a lot of time walking/exploring. And that can wear you out after about 10-14 days, and everything starts looking the same. You all are starting to look a little tired. Since travel is so cheap in the EU, I usually won't spend more than 5 days in a country. If I want to see more than one or two cities in a country, I'll plan it on the next trip.
Love this vlog too!!! Very interesting to see what your are doing, seeing, eating. Lovely family! Never seen Venice before with such small crowds, nice.
When you get back home, and let all those moments pass in review, you get homesick. Homesick for those places you visited, the foreign languages you heard, the food and smells. You have been warned, traveling is the most intense way to live, and once you get into that, there is no going back ;) Lots of great moments in the coming days and greetings from Zurich Switzerland.
Hey Jamel, You know I really like this series. I was thinking that maybe you could get some sponsorships and do some sponsored travel videos. I travel a lot, and have been to Italy, and brother, you are capturing it really well. It could be an opportunity of you. It might be better to have people request places for you to travel to than songs to listen to. Love you, brother. Love seeing the whole family. Thanks for sharing.
When in Venice an absolute must is Glass Blowing, they make some amazing things out of glass. The most expensive colour is red, because they use gold to produce that colour. Two of my sisters have been there. One of them bought our Mum a Red Glass Venetian Vase, of course we don't use it. What pity you guys seem to have missed it.
The best advice i ever got about visiting Venice is to watch which way the crowd is going and walk in the opposite direction. Get lost, literally. I makes it a completely decent experience. I love that place. Make sure to get out to Murano and Burano.
IF you think that's a lot of people, don't go in June or September. There are triple the number you saw in St. Mark's square. The best thing to do is always go away from St. Mark's to eat and explore
Funny you should mention the music bc I was thinking how much I like the music you add. It always sets the right atmosphere. Loving the vaca videos. Enjoyed my first gondola ride!!
Looks like you guys left Venice without seeing the Rialto Bridge or taking a waterbus trip down the Grand Canal, which is lined with beautiful palaces. I wish you'd stayed another day and done these things. Venice deserves as much time as Florence or Rome. Hopefully you'll come back another time.
I hope you enjoyed that Gondola ride with your wife and took advantage of that romantic gondola ride to just enjoy being there with your lovely wife that has planned out this amazing vacation for all of you! I would love to take a gondola ride with my love under the Bridge of Sighs someday. Speaking of, someday check out the 70s love story A Little Romance starring a very young Diane Lane.
Venice has a set of locks, The MOSE that cost them billions of Euros and took years to build that regulate the Acqua alta, or exceptional high tides. It is already in use but won't be fully functional for a few years.
Ruh - Roh There's been a glitch! Venice was awesome to experience, thanks for sharing! And THEN... the following morning we all headed to the next amazing area..... where we all disappeared as if part of a magic act! Where are we now?? Anybody's guess.......
Jamal man you ain’t nothing but straight up head to to FLY. Hats are off the chain always got on great outfits and shoes well just Show out with yo Bad self. Family looks great. Looks like you guys are enjoying life. Be safe man.
I'm sorry, you missed Galarie dell'Accademia. It's on the south bank. Walking around, I just stumbled upon it, when I was there, and they just so happened to have, at the time, Leonardo da Vinci's sketches, including "The Vetruvian Man".
9:30 The Doge's Palace, and just between those two buildings 10:19, is "The Bridge Of Sighs". Those who had just been convicted, were lead across the bridge, which has a window, giving a final view of the beauty of Venice, before they were hauled off, to their less picturesque destination. "Sigh".
You've visited three of the four italian historical "Maritime Republics" ....Amalfi...Pisa...and Venezia (the most powerful). You miss the last one....
I am enjoying your family holiday and it seems to me that you just tag along with whatever the others have planned. In fact the only thing that you have wanted to find is a chicken big mac! Lol 😆

What a wonderful and beautiful experience that you’re experiencing right now that is such a gift and thank you for sharing it with us on TH-cam please tell your family we all said hi and enjoy the rest of your trip🤠
I’m enjoying taking the clues of what places have signs then looking at the map app to see where went! Learning so much!
I like the family pics, you take.Everyone is happy. Enjoying all I see, in your videos.💗🙂 Thank you⭐

I loved taking the vaporetto around Venice. I was able to go to Murano and Burano while I was there in October. Venice is such a beautiful city.
I dont know what it is about you, but your energy is infectious. Always feel better checking out one of your videos.

Il Santo Bevitore in Venice is my favourite bar in Italy. It has a great vibe with a huge selection of beers. I wish I was there now!

Italy is known for their Gondolas, food and music , youtube the Eurovision Song Contest from 2021 when the rock group Maneskin won
Enjoy, and live well.
Once again.....great choice of music.
Stay warm Jamal eat greens like spinach will give you iron I have the same problem all my life.
Really nice camerawork you do!
If you can, I would like a list of the music that you used for all of the videos please. 😊 It fit the visuals perfectly. 👌🏼
Glad you guys are having a blast. Hope no one touched or drank the water lol.
We saw tourists wading in the water when the tide came in.. Omg! 😱 Ick! Lol

Venice is still a dream. Sinking.
17:35 Laundry Line, brings back memories.
27:07 The Byzantine Era tile mosaics, of St. Mark's.
Absolutely. And that ground floor all wobbly, thought I was hallucinating. Glorious art. 🥃

Nice footage, ive been to venice in september. To be honest I didn't find the people overthere friendly. But it is a beautiful place to visit.
I’ve been enjoying your trip along with you! Idk if I could ever do the Gondola ride because I get motion sickness easily.
Jamal man you ain’t nothing but straight up head to to FLY. Hats are off the chain always got on great outfits and shoes well just Show out with yo Bad self. Family looks great. Looks like you guys are enjoying life. Be safe man.

It seems to be a fantastic time here in Italy! Enjoy the time, did you have a "cicchetto" in Venice?
Huzzah, finally!
Public transportation where Jamel is not sitting separate from the family.
Awesomeness
You've visited three of the four italian historical "Maritime Republics" ....Amalfi...Pisa...and Venezia (the most powerful). You miss the last one....

I see the large incense burner suspended from the rafters in that beautiful church my friend
Every city in Italy 🇮🇹 has been beautiful but I think Venice is where I would park it. But you have other places to go so I will reserve my comment.
Loved the music 🎶
There's so much to see in Italy that you can walk right past Marco Polo's house and not even blink.
Hope u enjoy ur family vacatiom.. see u again
I find the bookstores everywhere we go. Now I have a new one to add to my ever growing list. Did it smell musty or moldy?
