My favorite Western movie to date. Young Guns was well directed, superbly acted, and the storyline was captivating. The supporting cast and the sets were awesome as well. I pray YG 3 will be just as great and entertaining as the first.

@Some Guy 99 I liked YG 2 as well, but I'll always love YG 1. It set the tone for a well directed western film.

@@cray9925 I wish they would have made a third one back in the day. There is so much that happened in the Lincoln County War....it would have been even more epic. They could have had Brushy Bill Roberts in part 3 as the finale, retelling everything that happened and piece it all together from 1 and 2...in an epic showdown at the end. I remember seeing Unsolved Mysteries back in the early 90's..and they told the story of Brushy Bill.. He had the same scars, and his stories never changed and they all added up. It would have been wild...if he really was in fact...William H. Bonney! There's the part of me...that wants to believe Brushy Bill was the kid and that Garrett wouldn't have shot him in such a cowardly way, like they say it went down.
I loved Part 2, but after it was over and everyone had been killed...I was like man...it's over. My mouth dropped when Doc went down...and the knife fight with Chavez..taking one through the arm..still makes me cringe when I watch it! I didn't want Young Guns to end. The Lincoln County War has always fascinated me!

Both films were incredible! Part 3 should tell the tale of Brushy Bill Roberts. I’m all in 👏

@@rocketeightyseven1823 They are making part 3. Finally! I don’t know much details but what I can gather is it will be kinda a retelling of some parts of part 1 and 2 through the eyes of brushy bill. His story and versions of events kept changing and contradicting each other when he was brought to the governor before he died as an old man. Part of why he was discredited. This leaves room to kinda do a “Redo” as in real life both Doc and Chavez lived to be in their old age. Additionally Brushy Bill had some pretty wild stories of what he did after escaping and faking death. From joining the rodeo, to joining a modern day regulators to help catch horse thieves, I believe he fought in Cuban war...a bunch of wild adventures so there’s definitely a story in there somewhere. If they can kinda do it like the Movie Big Fish by Tim Burton where your left wondering what was true and what was not I think they can pull it off. Emilio is helping original writer and director with script. Lou D says he’s in. Haven’t heard from Kiefer Southerland (Doc) side but I’m sure he wouldn’t say no. Can’t wait!

    Soundtrack was... odd.
But both films were damn good for 80's 90's Westerns.
Lou in particular stood out; he really put a lot into that role.
