I would like to see some finished products that you have used these gelli prints you made. I've seen people make the prince but I've never seen what people do with the prints
Hello! FYI, my instructions say to TOSS the acetate and keep the clamshell for storage. I'm going to recycle it and cut a couple stencils with my Silhouette. 🎃👻🌟
I will purchase gel press palate, but need to know what to purchase which brayers?? is speedball ok to spread acrylic on gel press? soft or hard brayer??
Face of a card, pieces of cards as you layer them, mixed media art including flat pieces, decoupage onto just about anything, collages, among other things. Great way to play with learning color wheel and combining tips. It's a heck of alot of fun. Oh and I forgot about journaling. You can put the gel plate on an acrylic block and add your color, stencils etc right to the journal.
Yes but.... and all these are wonderful don't get me wrong, but of all the videos I have seen, the gel press is disgustingly dirty and yours is soooo clean, so is this a brand new plate you are using or do you have cleaning secrets up your sleeve that you aren't telling us. I am thinking about getting one but if it is too hard to maintain I'd rather not, at the end of the day I clean everything and I expect my tools to look pretty damn good if someone comes to my work station. The way you put down the brayer can leave a paint dimple on it. Better to roll off and then turn the brayer over.

they are super easy to clean! a baby wipe is usually enough but if you need to really clean it under the sink seems to work well with some warm water.
Why don't you roll paint off your brayer instead of washing off? Seems like a waste of paint.
