Potty training is very difficult I have a German shepherd 2 months old puppy.i will standing out with the dog for half an hour but once i bring it inside the house it does potty inside.

*5th week with my puppy. I’ll update this comment for you guys.*
*Days without incident:*
1st week: 2 days (8 weeks old)
2nd week: 3 days (9 weeks old)
3rd week: 3 days (10 weeks old)
4th week: 5 days (11 weeks old)
5th week:
When she does have an accident. It’s only once for that day.
You have to accept sole responsibility for your puppies accidents. If they are going inside then it is your fault and you must take corrective actions - unless they have an underlying health condition that causes them to urinate frequently.
*Actions I’m taking for training:*
I’m keeping a journal when she has an accident and writing down what happened before the accident and trying to correct accordingly.
I take her out on a leash to the grass every 1hr and 15 mins and 25 mins after every feeding time. She goes instantly on the grass whenever I take her out and I praise her with a small treat every single time. She usually pees twice on the grass and sometimes has a poo.
I keep her in the crate when I can’t supervise properly and take her straight outside when I take her out of the crate. Supervision is key. I’ve also blocked off certain areas in my apartment so I can keep a better eye on her.
I don’t scold her but when I catch her in the act I shout real loud “Hey” and clap and take her straight outside to the grass again. Let me be clear I don’t scold but you definitely need to scare them a little - regardless of what the information says.
I lift her water at 9:00pm every night. Zero accidents during the night.
I keep her on a feeding schedule - 9AM and 5PM
I do not use puppy pads (As it will only give them the idea it is OK to potty inside, making the transition to outside much harder)
Just remember accidents are bound to happen. Just try to do better next time. That’s why I keep my journal.
