^*How is the exhaust pathetic have you ever heard one in person? I mean sure it's not good as a NA car but for a stock turbo car it sounds very good. Easy to add an exhaust also and you get it way louder and some crazy turbo noises thrown in.

True, but you can buy a new exhaust, you can't really buy a whole new body as the 458 looks horrible compared to the 488.

No no Matt...I don't think the squeaky noise from the brakes, the downtrodden stereo and the flimsy door handle are all nit-picking at all. They are absolute glaring anomalies on a car which is otherwise an epitome of a millionaires cherished pet...Good spot....hope this opens the eyes of Ferrari and show that they are still up there in this business !!

There is one more thing, the power button rotate with the volume knob.. So the symbol will be upright some time.. So annoying.. 😰

The noise from the brakes is when they apply slight pressure to keep heat in them or they don't work properly I'm sure I've read that somewhere

Mat the brakes should not make that sound. Some cars do that, and it's caused by two things.
One is sticking pistons, and the other is the fact that the pads are glazed.
Do a proper bedding in and that brake noise will be gone.

Dear Mat, if you're seeing this. You should do the slope test in the front and in the back of all supercar because people who want to own only 1 car will consider it too. And by the slope test. I mean the maximum slope degree that the car can take without hitting the road. Sorry for bad english. It isn't my native language.

I love these videos and Matt does an amazing job, i just feel the colour of them is a little washed out and almost over exposed. I feel it makes the cars look faded in a lot of shots.

I think the infotainment system being on the right of the steering wheel is more of a British problem, since it might be designed for left hand drive, which makes sense.
How about ground clearance and front lift?
for the brakes noise is the problem is the brake pads need one equipment not so difficult to find it

Bed the brakes and get rid of the glazing. This will also prevent the caliper pistons from sticking.

I'm not saying it's better or worst. When you develop a car you do it for the MAJORITY of your customer. Being better or worse, it doesn't matter. Take the gearbox as an example. Supercars, most of them, are developed with a double clutch gearbox, even if people "have been driving manual longer than automatic".

It’s not the carbon ceramic break that makes the annoying sound. It’s the break peds (rubber part) gone, so it has to be changed. 👍🏻👍🏻
Please explain that. Just so you know, I own a 488 and I work on the brakes myself. I know all the parts in the calipers.

I really like this car and have considered it lately but I feel you get better value with something like the McLaren 570s or Lamborghini Huracan. Ferrari lately seems over priced for what you get. Sure it has the HP but I suppose you're mainly paying a 20% premium because of the Ferrari badge...
You'd get even better value with a Honda Civic!
Nice one - mode tech shite can really interfere with ones driving pleasure - controls way too overcomplicated - maclaren do that stuff better. and cheap plastics are awful - those door handles!
