- Wonderful voice of Lagani! Brings back memories!.. I was only a child when this song came out, I remember belting this tune out, quiet convinced I sounded like him too...how we all can dream! Hahaha!! It's a great pleasure uploading these beautiful songs from such a talented artist Lagani Rabukawaqa. Also brings back a flood of good and wonderful memories :) ENJOY! :)

Nice guitar work - lovely Fijian song recorded by Fijian boy soprano Lagani Rabukawaqa in the 1980's - he was popular not only in Fiji but many other Pacific countries for his clearly pronounced lyrics in the Fijian Bau language which were easy to sing along to even if you had no idea what they meant. NB In Fiji "g" is pronounced "ng" as in 'sing', "q" is pronounced "nng" as in 'kangaroo' and "c" is a voiced "th" as in 'this'.
