Thank you Andrew. Cheers Amigo.
The fatwood handles came out looking great. The bacon burgers are awesome enjoy them. Cheers Nathan
Thank you Jack. Cheers brother.
Cool, nice handle. Bet that process smelled good.
No too much smell. The chips stick everywhere, I wouldn't do this in hot and humid day. The resin sticks to my tools.
bad ass boss !!! if you have problems cleaning your stuff go to smart and final (heavy duty cleaner degreaser) blue stuff cleans tree sap off a bit of elbow grease but takes it off I got sap on my truck and it took it off I use the cleaner at work
I'll look into that. Keep prospecting.
Nice job on the handle. The Dark Matter handle is out of this world. Burger looked yummy. Thanks for sharing. Tony
Thank you Tony. Indeed, The Dark Matter handles is one of the best custom set that I own.
Too cool!
Thank you Bonnie.
Oh my.... a bacon burger sizzling towards the end of the video almost made me forget what the video was about! Nice job on the handles, and it's always good to see dark's work too!!

@@NathansFerroceriumrods1 your more then welcome brother
Uh Ohhh.... He's hooked on turning fatwood. lol Keep it sticky!
Fatwood anonymous. Sticky icky.
@@NathansFerroceriumrods1 thats Awesome.
I Love Fatwood best Natural firestarter. That and Pine pitch/sap/tar. I love it all. Im Lucky enough to live in New England where pine,Birch, oak and Hemlock are Everywhere. Keep it up Nathan that lathe work is so satisfying, I enjoy turning hard woods, never tried Fatwood though thats on my Bucket list. 👌
Those fatwood handles are absolutely beautiful. Cooking bacon with bacon for delicious burgers 🍔 🔥👍🇺🇸
Thank you Cheryl. All that work made me hungry.
@@NathansFerroceriumrods1 your welcome my friend
I could watch you make handles all day long. Beautiful work brother! Bacon burger looked tasty!! Cheer my friend
Thank you Rick. Light some fatwood and watch it burn. LOL
😎👍👍
Fire it up.
Awesome looking handle brother. That bag of dust should last a really good while. A bag that size would probably last a lifetime for me. Bacon on burgers, ABSOLUTELY !
Thank you Chief.
Awesome work by an artist! I love the grain in the fatwood and the colors! Those dark matter handles are beautiful!
Thank you. I'm learning. The handles that dark Matter made very well made with nice intricate work.
Great idea with the painters tape Nathan 👍🏻 did it work well making easier cleanup?
I did have to chuckle when you were scraping off some mya dust with all that you had bagged and laying around after turning.
Boy that bacon and burger 🍔 sure looked tasty 😋 👍🏻
No kidding LOL. I had so much maya dust on the floor but I wanted to show the buyer of this set that this was fatwood. The painters tape helps out, It also holds a piece of leather to keep from marring the wood. Thank you Donna.
Nathan4071 that a super idea on the leather to protect the tools
The handles turned out real nice Nathan and you got a lot of shavens for fire starter
Indeed. A lot of shaving for many fires. Thank you Kirk.
Not sure that's gonna be wnough maya dust for your next fire, you might need a little more. Very cool set !!!!!!
Thank you Kaylynn.
You are really talented! compliment 😍
Got to say smart idea good job brother
Does it turn as good as you like or does it gum up?
The tools gum up but not as bad like in the summer time.
Save the chips for starting fires. When your hands are COLD it is better to use fatwood chips than trying to make feathers with a knife.
I saved a lot of chips. Fluffy and ready to light up with a ferro rod.
Why don't you get rid of the ashes before the fire? Btw. The one of a kind pieces are awesome!
I was lazy. The handles are nice. Thank you for your time.
It's all good bro
Beautiful Nathan, very beautiful! Fatwood is an awesome handle material. What kind of glue do you use?
To cover the handles I use CA glue, also know as crazy glue. To set the striker and ferro rod, I use epoxy.
Well done Nathan. How long do you think the CA glue will keep the stickiness from coming to the surface of the fatwood? Love the handles from Dark Matters.
I don't know but the CA glue gets hard. As long you don't leave it in full sunlight, it should be okay.
What lathe are you using ? Thanks enjoying your videos.
It's harbor freight lathe. I bought a new one since this video was made. I now have a record power lathe.
Respect
I'd really like to own a set. But it don't have to be made of fat wood.

I am torn Nathan... I can't decide which is most sexy!
That beautiful fatwood lathe work, or that sizzling bacon!!! Cheers Brother
Thank you Brandon. I'll take the bacon.
@@NathansFerroceriumrods1 Yeah... me too... lol
Man I have got to get out and find some those are huge chunk's I just have boughten stuff slivers wild what super glue does
Getting outdoors is the best medicine for the insides.
I can just smell that right trough the screen
Fatwood always smells good, especially when being cut.
@@NathansFerroceriumrods1 sometimes I just heat a piece with a lighter, without setting it on fire. So all the oils and terpenes evaporate and create a nice smell 😁
@@slowflow6474 Interesting. I need to try that.
First
Cool beans.
How much for a set ?
Here is a link. www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&_ssn=nathan4071
Now take the bacon out of the pan and put the pieces of wood in it to get a fat tree!
I think that you're grill needs to be cleaned of ash.
Next time. Cheers Old Man.
