Whenever I watch them dance, they always amaze me coz even though they are also slim like other ggs, their moves don't lack power or they don't just pick pretty choreographies to look pretty but rather they execute choreos like a pro.

As you pointed out, this is their debut song for Spring 2022. It's also my favorite song. But they were originally supposed to debut in 2020, can you believe this? In that case, the youngest COCONA and MAYA would have debuted at the age of 14.
Also XG started training 1 year after BP debuted. I think you can like both groups without comparing, since each brings sth different to the table. XG is fire & so is BP. There are many groups who have good music out there & songs can be enjoyed without listing faves or bringing down others ^^ That goes not only for J-/K-Pop but also in the US.

I don't think BP is overhyped (just as BTS or any other popular group, just cuz I don't listen to them). They obviously only compare XG to BP cuz that's the only group they know, which is TOTALLY understandable. But down the line as they get to know more (female) artists in the k-/j-industry, they will learn a diverse range of artists and groups & not everything needs or can be compared. I actually think it hinders people to fully enjoy an artist for the artist itself rather than their environment :)
