They could've made it harder by putting the identical ingredients in a random order instead, so picking all mid will not guarantee the same ingredient.
The flaw in this challenge is that they kept the same order on both sides. So if they always went for the same side theyd get the same one. If they do this again they should change the order for both sides. Like A,B,C on one side and C,A,B on the other

as a triplet i can say ive had so many shared experiences with my brothers and we have known each other for so long and see each other every day that sometimes we just happen to think the same or have the same reaction or response to things , i think its just a matter of familiarity
