I made this tiramisu twice and it was amazing!!! I loved it. It only took me 1/2 hour because I was not familiar with all the ingredients, but I should get better with time. Either way I felt like a true chef. 👍👍👍

Oh man, I just made this tiramisu recipe tonight and Gemma, it came out outstanding! So good and the amaretto gives it an even better flavor. I love amaretto so I also added a bit to the coffee before dunking the lady fingers. So good! It tastes way better than Olive Garden even my husband was impressed. Thanks Gemma!

I just want to say this was the first real full blown cake I've ever made (i've made simple banana cakes and lemon loafs before) and it turned out AMAZING. Gemma you are a godsend. I actually ended up making this recipe totally from scratch using Gemma's homemade ladyfinger recipe AND her homemade mascarpone recipe then I put it all together. It tastes SO FREAKING GOOD. The 3 days of effort were totally worth it (i followed Gemma's advice from her ladyfinger recipe and made them two days ahead so they could go stale) If anyone out there thinks they can't bake, or they don't have the talent, this is such a good recipe and cake to start with. I could barely stop myself from eating it right away.

From an italian girl that looks beautiful , never tried to make it with cream instead of the yolks while with sugar, i'm soooo traditionalist on tiramisù because it's a favourite of mine maybe i'll try it if i'm on a hurry! I use cointreau for the mousse , it has a nice orange favourite and as you say it elevates the flavour of the mousse! For some variants: use a quite liquid chocolate instead of coffee (good if children are going to eat it as well), use Classic biscuits instead of ladyfingers, use milk instead of coffee and add sliced fruit when you do the layers(eg strawberries or peaches os ananas). This last one is for really really sweet tooth!! My personal favourite is the traditional one, made with family recipe of course😌 have a good week and enjoy your tiramisù!
I tried this recipe yesterday and I had to add more whipping cream ( about another 3/4 cup). The 1 cup was not enough to cover the cookies in a decent layer. I also added 50 ml of kahlua to the coffee for another flavor note.
I made the Tiramisu today and it tastes amazing!!! Totally in love, I am def going to make this again. It took me 30 minutes but that includes making cofffee, searching for the ingredients in the pantry....

I made this yesterday! I didn't add alcohol as forgot to buy some and got stumped in Sainsburys looking for Marsala Wine 😂 Even without the booze it was divine! I did add a bit of coffee essence into the cream mix because we're all coffee mad and it was lush ❤

I tried this for Christmas day 2023 and it is really easy to make .I used a large whisk and everything blended well once my heavy whipping cream made peaks.Thanks for the great Tiramisu recipe we Loved it! And i found the Savoiardi ladyfingers at Burlington coat store in North Carolina for only $3.99. The small jar of espresso by Delallo was found at Walmart store, instead of the brandy i used a splash of rum.

Made this last night for a dinner party and it turned out amazing! Will add a tip for others - dip the fingers very lightly in coffee or else after a few hours, you’ll have too much liquid in your dish and that’s not what you want! In pastry school we learned to soak the lady fingers then brush them once you laid them out in your pan.

That is a cool recipe, I only made tiramisu once, and it was the kind with eggs, and it did not turn out, but everyone ate it. that is how much we love tiramisu. Gonna try this recipe, love not having to do the egg part.

My favorite change to this is sub in baileys into the cream mixture and add a splash of kahlua to the coffee mixture, yum!
