Mario Party 3 is the 3rd installment of the Mario Party series of games, developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo. It features 70 brand new minigames as well as new boards, game modes, and playable characters.
One of these game modes is "Story Mode" in which the player must play through every board in the game against computer players. This TAS plays through the story mode on the "Super Hard" difficulty, which normally requires a completion on hard mode to unlock.

I was wondering how the entire story mode could be completed in about an hour.
Then Luigi's turn started...
What's more impressive than how Luigi plays is the damn patience to get the RNG they did with all the Wacky Watches and rolls. 💜💜💜

My only real criticism is that once you've seen one of each board type, you've seen them all, and even then that's taken back by the fact that all those manips must have taken forever to get.
Rather than Luigi winning by doing absolutely nothing, this is more Luigi winning by ensuring nobody can do absolutely anything
Fun Fact: while playing as any other character aside from Luigi in story mode, Luigi would take that certain character’s stamp. Luigi doesn’t actually have a stamp unique to him.
You could say that Luigi is the main character of Mario Party 3. He has to beat the rest of the characters at what they do best and defeat both his future lover and greatest rival.

I like to think Luigi MP3 is canon for this very reason, and the reason why Waluigi developed a personal grudge against him.

It still feels like a strange design choice, this story mode. Basically, if you choose anyone other than Luigi, Luigi will replace that character's place in the story (play as Peach, and Luigi is the Duel rival for "Love"). So if you play Luigi, everyone is in their proper places in the story.
So shouldn't this be "Luigi Party" because of who's clearly the protagonist here?
If you add to that the two characters added in Mario party 3 are Daisy and Waluigi. The love intrest of Luigi and Luigi's Rival.
Mario party 3's story mode is basically a Luigi gaining confidence to to like Mario by challenging all his friends.
Maybe for his upcoming game.
I love how everyone is talking about Luigi winning by doing absolutely everything, when almost every minigame has ended in a tie.

most likely it's used to make the computer easy to control. normally it's pretty hard to use... but if you have save states and slow down...............
