Hi Traveltales The potholes are so bad because successive parliaments in this country have understood the issue. They are frightened to increase council tax to pay for proper repairs. The politicians are unaware and could not care less as they have buried their heads in the sand about the issue. Also with the increase of traffic and HGV's and others some of the roads are worn out.The only roads that get maintained these days if you call it maintenance are Motorways much of the work is carried out overnight as they can close sections when there is little traffic. Thanks for your comment Crawford it's such a shame - I will say though on a positive note, my pothole avoidance skills have definitely increased in the few weeks I've been driving Tandy here 😀 Chris
All the big supermarkets have great deli style food. Many have really cheap cafe/restaurants associated, with ok food but very cheap. Morrisons, Tesco.
I did warn you about the raods 😂 to hear someone compare our UK roads to Bulgaria isn't a surprise 😂 it's nothing to do with rain, just our government.. They are pre occupied with other ways to ruin the UK ❤

(especially as you only gave me a few days notice)! It was so lovely meeting up with you & for other subscriber's benefits, I got prezzies too! Thank you! You've already experienced some of the good and bad points of vanlife in the UK - & you've rescued wildlife too! ... well done. It was my pleasure to take you around a small part of the New Forest as it's such a wonderful place & I'm sue you will get to see even more amazing landscapes as you travel clockwise (particularly the Scottish Highlands) - which I know from watching all the previous Vlogs, you will absolutely love! If you get a chance, the Peak District is beautiful. Try Bakewell it’s lovely with some great walks.
