Thanks for this and this’s really a great content for the youngsters. HY is a really good role model of being one of the women in finance and giving the motivation that everyone can do it. I totally understand the self doubt feeling of “I ain’t good enough” or “am I really capable to do it” but when we really get determined to do it and progress time to time it’s really worth the efforts. Kudos to both of you and let’s continue to improve and be better. ❤
I find her claim quite strange. She mentioned losing six figures at the age of 24 or 25, yet her salary was only RM 3,000 per month. Even assuming she saved every penny and invested the entire amount monthly, it seems unlikely she would have accumulated a six-figure sum by that age. Based on the numbers, her statement doesn’t seem entirely truthful. Just my two cents.
I believe her, I think what she meant was she made her golden bucket from the stock mkt during the bull run 2020 -2022. But eventually lose it back ...😢😢
This is such a great podcast, a lot of knowledge and experiences being shared. I recently started a business with my girlfriend and I have been worried seeing my savings drop because of business expenses. Not much, maybe around 7%. But, I get very anxious because I've always been someone that saves EVERYTHING (RM 100 or lesser per month on spending). Now I know that I'm still young, I shouldn't be focusing so much on saving but focus more on my active income. Really appreciate it being a local podcast. Thank you!
@@ZietInvests I feel you should do more studies before you post your videos. For example your last video on Malaysia will become the richest county in South east asia. Investors only interested in how Malaysia will make them richer. Before commenting on whether Malaysia will become the richest nation, you need first understand the global trend. Truly, many organizations throughout the world have turned to AI to decrease costs and minimize jobs. China now has 11.8 million unemployed university graduates, with another 10 million expected to graduate shortly. It is a widespread tendency that humans will never be able to match AI's speed or multitasking capabilities. Singapore, for example, is employing more technology to minimize staff while being one of the top three financial centers and a tax haven for the ultra-rich. These ultra-wealthy individuals from all over the worldwide will make large deposits in Singapore, Switzerland, Ireland, and other nations because they believe their money is secure there, which has resulted in high pay for those working in financial services. What can Malaysia provide to make these ultra-wealthy individuals further richer? They will not deposit their large sum of money in Malaysia either.
Heard you mentioned that you are not sure why your friend purchased an insurance investment plan and paying higher than yours? I suggest you look for someone professional in the life insurance planner to get a full understanding the purpose & how it benefits you. Cause as a financial profession like you should need to understand how insurance can be part of your planning to help you transfer the impact of financial crisis in the event when you are forced to stop or unable to perform your own daily duties due to serious illness.. medical insurance is just play a part to help you take care of hospital bills ONLY.. where else your living expenses and cost of living may impacted badly during that period, so you may want to look into income/living protection insurance plan to help take care on those expenses.
General definition of free cash. 100k cash laying around doing nothing (not in any other form of asset) is still a difficult feat for many to achieve + first bucket ma, gotta be realistic not aim for moon😁
Thanks for the knowledge sharing. Not financial advice. U r right again, watch TH-cam more, that's where I got my investment going.1 question, with the rm getting stronger, some of the early investments in us stocks profit seems to shrink, keep buying?
hi ziet, i really this episode of podcast that you created. you mentioned about your friends going for insurance (investment linked type) which is typically what most of the insurance agents offer now and also consumer are buying, may i know what other insurance i may be able to get instead with the idea of lowering down my insurance cost and at the same time still have the same protection , when some unforseen event take place etc?
How would you approach it differently now if an HUGE opportunity (maybe 10x more than the past one, because you've obviously grown more, haha) comes your way?
Great question! And honestly any answer today will differ as circumstances evolve because perspectives will shift, and the goal post will move as well. In that case, i will go back to the fundamentals of why i started what im currently doing - if 10x opportunity comes, double it down on the same intention/direction and scale it accordingly, core values will still be in tact
@@ZietInvests t20 and top 1% is a huge difference. T20 melambak at the street nowadays. T20 save 8k ringgit per month, it takes 20 yrs to reach 2.2mil. So aim t1 not t20

Wondering the same, maybe she already had some capital to begin with? 🤔
Basically if you leverage through warrants and penny stocks you can easily reach that number during that period. Look at glove stocks as examples

Dave Ramsey's 7 Baby Steps (First 4 steps) is a good starting point.
