As a teenager, one would love Ronaldinho's one-man effort and magic, as one grow up and sailed through hardships, one began to appreciate Ronaldo's fight against injury throughout his career. When one matures, one begins to appreciate Rivaldo the man, the hardworking, the one that needs little attention but always get things done and brings joy to our youthful selves, and remain an example even after he is out of the spot light. I frankly feel sorry for Ronaldinho for simply wasting his life after retirement and even going to jail.
Brazil 2002 is scary squad.. Super talented players on that squad.

He used to make miracles in his clubs, but never did the same in the National team. But then 2002 has arrived and he was the best in that tournment, more than Ronaldo. Thats why he used to receive criticism in Brazil.

Before injury Ronaldo is unquestionably the most talented player to ever step foot on the pitch...2002 Ronaldo returned after after 2-3 difficult years recovering from injury he was no longer the same but still so talented that he changed his game and was still the best in the world

Yeah...for example Ronaldo scored two goals in the FIFA World Cup 2002 final against Germany...but the creator of both the goals was Rivaldo...in the first one Rivaldo made a powerful shot so that Oliver Kahn couldn't hold it into his hands and Ronaldo came forward...finished it with his excellence...and the second goal...Rivaldo skipped a pass received from far right side of the field so that others will misunderstand and Ronaldo could take the final shot...Ronaldo in the records and Rivaldo considered great for some.
He never sought attention. Rivaldo is the introvert type. I can relate. People in general, in his case the press, misunderstand introverts' behavior.
While it is not fair of how he was criticized, but from hind sight, that might have been what kept him on the ground and steer through the hard times.

With Rivaldo in 2006, that might have been enough to bounce France 🇫🇷 off the WC. 2006 Brazil 🇧🇷 totally choked. ‘02 Brazil 🇧🇷 was the last time Joga Bonito was in play. Brazil 🇧🇷 hasn’t been the same since.

Yes you are right..bt Still for me Rivaldo was way better and more imp for both club and country. Scoring hattricks against Valencia, Ac milan & Real madrid was not Ronaldinhos cup of tea.(his 3rd goal was wrongly disallowed against real madrid).Ronaldinho was surely more skillful but Rivaldo had more impact.Really miss him.

As a student in High school freshman, I watched PELE and the SANTOS take on ACCRA HEARTS OF OAK at ACCRA sports stadium we all BRAZIL have got a lot talented players . So all the players coming from all very talented players. The match ended 2- 2 draw the hole City have closed early just because of PELE. I give a lot of Respect to TO BRAZIL Players and as my native player from GHANA and the rest of the world. This REVALDO he is not the only forgotten player as every year we got new talented players coming out we quickly forgot about those who have retired so he is not alone let's try not to forget about them.

I was lucky enough to be at the Liverpool vs Barcelona semi final in 2001 at Anfield for the Uefa cup, LFC won. But Rivaldo was playing & I can't express how he made every player on that pitch look like an amateur kid in a play ground, he really was head and shoulders above the rest. A Great player, amongst the best I've ever seen. And I'm a Liverpool Fan.

That's why I love Brazilian players most! I hardly can't choose who is the best among them but for me they're all my favourite 'giga' players around the globe! They are talented having own marvellous skill! Best dribbler, best scorer etc. Rivaldo is one of 'em! It's so amazing that Brazil has had so many 'R' greatest players such as Ronaldo, Ronaldino, Rivaldo, Riverlino, Romerio and Roberto Carlos.
