Glad to see you're doing well in Taiwan! The flashcards are very cool! I'm not a big fan of oatmeal and never really thought of it as a possible rice substitute. If you enjoy it, that's great! I just learned how to make rice without a rice cooker. The key things to look up are the water to rice ratio depending on type of rice, and time it takes to cook - just need a small pot :)

I even remember sending you an email once a few years ago. Looking back, it looks like I have been a subscriber since 2015. I know a lot has changed since then, but great to see you are doing better and living in Taiwan now. I visited Taiwan for 10 days back in 2017 with family on vacation and got to see different parts of the island. I remember the food being really good in Taiwan. I self studied Mandarin Chinese for a period of about 3 years and I can understand and speak some basic Chinese now. Keep up your Chinese language studies, continue to practice, and you will learn the language. 你很棒! 加油!

I used to watch your blogs in 2017 and 2018 while studying my career and studying japanese, you really fueled a lot of my goals and enthusiasm of living in Asia someday as I studied my career and I studied languages... it's been so long, lots of stuff happened in my life and your life ever since. In a month, I'll be moving to Korea and will live in a sharehouse like you do now in Taiwan, I'll achieve my longtime dream finally! I think things change, and find their place eventually. I even have songs that I listen that remind me of the calm and comfort your blogs provided me all throughout the young years of my life! I'm very very happy you're better, your routine seems to be super on point and I hope that your life decisions, whatever that has lead you to be the steph you are today, brings you to the happiest version of yourself ever.
