Hi Lynn and Rob a brilliant video as ever and so glad you have enjoyed your stay in Brixham it’s one of my favourite places! We have spent lots of happy times there and looks just as good as ever and looks like you have had the best weather to enjoy it as well! English heritage is well worth having and we are members we well recommend Wroxeter out by Shrewsbury the Roman town, Goodrich castle and Kenilworth castle. A good one by you is Witley Court we have been loads of times it’s well worth visiting! Out of the area Dover Castle is good and also Portchester Castle by Portsmouth - some of the car parks are tight especially for motor homes Halesowen abbey doesn’t have much car parking and is only open certain days of the year Would love to stay on the Golden Hind I bet it would be an experience! Hope you are both keeping well all the best to you both Daniel

Ha ha, just done Newark motorhome show, a lot of rain, and we had our solar panel two thirds covered by our drive away awning. We fastened it over the top foolishly, and weather was too bad to try and sort.Only got 1 panel and gel battery and we still managed four nights, still charged through the fabric.showered every day, hot water etc. don’t watch tv. Had the diesel heater on each night so well cosy. We’ve got the equivalent of the jet boil for tea and coffee and that is so cheap on gas, amazing.
Hiya Rob and Lynn wow im really enjoying Brixham wht a picturesque place .... Wow see the Motorhome sites are still 😮expensive we left them around the same time as you did and we are only with caravan and camping..... We have Solar Panel on roof but we haven't really been off grid yet but we are going to be trying it out this summer for sure only thing is i do leave my TV on all night i do at home im a bit scared of the dark even at my age 😮.... Looking forward to visiting some Heritage Places ..... Oh i love reading my book when im away i know my brother keeps trying to get me to listen to audio but,i love a book 📖..... Take Care see you on nxt vlog ..... xx😊😊❤❤🐶🐶
Hi Alison, you will be absolutely fine of grid using just solar , don’t leave the Tv on all night though that’s just wasting power , just get your self a rechargeable light 💡 we use one all the time xx

English heritage is great membership to have i was a member and great place to and the national trust is great membership to have to have a look too. And i hope you had a grest birthday lynn you take care have a great weekend both
Hi both 👋 Luv Brixham glad you had a good time. We are also members of the MCC and hope to attend some rallies this year, their prices are very good value 👍
Just got back from Brixham. Always love the place. Had lovely avocado and crab meal on the harbour. We were up Hill Head area and had real problems with water. Sw water were outside our mobile home site all week and have great big holes in the ground. We had to use bottled water all the time, which they gave us, we even gave our cat bottled water. I bet the Golden Hind wouldnt take our cat. They always say pets but usually mean dogs only. We belong to NT and went to Coombe Castle which is about 10 miles from Brixham, if you can find it. Very windy roads. We used to be.ong to English heritage but it is mostly old, broken down buildings, its ok but you need to ring them to check if there is parking. NT is properties which are mostly intact and renovated. Lots of people read, but a lot of men dont. A friend of ours had never read books when we got him interested he has never stopped.
Oh gosh, I hope it didn’t spoil your stay there, and I hope they get it sorted out soon, Oh and yes I doubt if they would but you could always ask I suppose, it usually means dogs ( I think )

I wish I had been with you in Brixham we've been visiting every year for well over 50yrs and know it well you missed two of the best places to eat and drink, you will have to return some of the immediate areas are stunning❤

English Heritage is wonderful. We are based near Church Stretton and have recently been to both kennilworth Castle and Much Wenlock priory, both are brilliant and despite fairly narrow roads your massive motorhome would easily fit into their car parks 👍
Oh shut up Robert! Love my books - you could always have a picture book 😁. Brixham looks lovely, haven't been there for years, will have to add it to my list of go to's.
😂😂 I love my books, I’ve always got at least two on the go at one time, an audiobook and a paper book or kindle. Brixham really is a beautiful place to visit, you definitely need to go there ☺️☺️
In an earlier vlog I told you about Sophie's grandma living in Brixham. We have really enjoyed seeing you both loving the town as much as we do. Sorry you didn't get to see the seals though, you missed a treat. Can't wait to be visiting again at the end of July and hoping for some Summer by then. We spend a lot of time 'Off Grid' and couldn't agree more with Rob. We have no power bank, but our solar on the roof, two leisure batteries and Auto Term diesel heater keeps us touring all year round. We're not ones for parking the van up during the winter. As for English Heritage, we prefer the National Trust for the furnished stately homes. Sorry, I'm waffling again !!! D+S xx
Hi and yes i remember you saying that, Brixham is stunning, we definitely won’t be leaving it as long to revisit, Everyone definitely needs to do winter camping it’s great 😊 Take care both

Our caravan is on solar and when we are at our site we never need to put the caravan on the hook up at all. Great stuff we are the only ones that don't pay a electricity bill 😊😊
