All the speeches and peep talks in the world won't change a person's Work Ethic or performance. When the tunnel vision kicks in and Zombie mode takers over, you are who you are. The best intensions also mean nothing if you can't get the job done correctly. What he should have focused on is Proper Water Application, Safety and the Responsible attitude that fire fighters need.

Similar problem the military often encounters. some engineer's got fanciful ideas for technology, not realizing everything that hardware gets subjected to or what people really use it for. That's why you see a lot of government contractor work go to total waste.
I stopped watching after I noticed he did not include ems in the murders. ems people were murdered as well but not mentioned WHY? I have been a emt since 1988 and in the fire department as well ems is never mentioned. every one that I know in nyc ems would know how this feels .
