Thank you for the great chat SOT! And thank all of you for watching! 🤘😁🤘
Bumblefoot/ thank you for being a “class act” that shows his appreciation. That ranks super high in my opinion of people. Wish you the best success!! With this endeavor and going forward! 👍💯
Thank you Ron!
Loved the Asia story! 🤘🏼
Thank you for the great interview. I'll always remember you sold me on Kerrygold butter. I saw you on the Royal Tour twice; fantastic with Asia. You were also part of my favorite disc last year: Sherinian/Phillps Live. Highly anticipating the WGD disc!
You're a great guest Ron! Look forward to hearing the new album! Thanks for being on here!
Ron seems like a real pleasant guy to talk to! He should come on the show more🙂
Great stuff. Ron is scary good.
I've been listening to Ron since his first album came out.
Ron looked like a pleasure to interview! Hope we are graced with his presence on SOT again. Can't wait for that Whom Gods Destroy album!
Listened to “The Name of War” and I dig this. Drummer especially.
What a great guy Ron is.
Personally I prefer Jeff in the progessive metal mode.
Looking forward to the album.
Great interview Pete Thank you
Played the two songs that are out on new album In the name of WAR- & Over AGAIN- 3 x each to be ready for this episode. Good stuff / heavy duty 👍💯
The guy seems really cool, down to earth, he can sure rip on that guitar, I'll have to check out the album when it comes out! Great interview guys!
This new album is GREAT and the artwork is amazing. Maybe album of the year.
Derek SHERINIAN/ Our great man “ Silence is GOLDEN s favorite- but with vocals” lol 👍💯
Man, great interview! Can't wait for the album!
I like Ron he's a creative player and a cool guy very special musician
Awesome interview. Thanks to Mike Portnoy’s journey out of DT, I discovered Ron and his amazing material. Now, I appreciate Ron’s journey with these new projects because I get to see new musicians that were way out of my radar. Can’t wait for this new album with this killer band!!
Wow great to hear of the mythos of Ken’s bbq skills lol - no doubt it’s fact!
Outstanding interview! I had no idea that he sang in asia. Picked up the new release and man I hope this is the start of something long-term because it's outstanding!
Great stuff, Pete!
Great interview Pete!! im so psyched for this album!!
Does anyone know the reason Portnoy didn’t give the guys his blessing to continue as Sons Of Apollo with a new drummer?
Because Jeff Scott Soto has another band, and Billy Sheehan reform Talas.
They were actually three dates into the European tour when everything came crashing down. I saw the second show in Drammen, Norway and then they played one more in Gothenburg and that was it. Also on that trip I saw one of the last shows Anathema ever played (and ever will) as well before they had to cancel too. Same with the Night Flight Orchestra though they're still active and they've played shows since. Crazy time.
(It was 4) ;)

Nice video😃👍
Peter, you should check out JELUSICK's debut album 'Follow the blind man', it's fire! 🔥
Best Italian technical death Metal FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE .
I want to love this as I enjoyed Sons of Apollo, but Dino's vocals grate me. He doesn't appear to fit. I will continue to try as their musicality is off the charts.
Way cool dude. Incredibly talented. My brother and his friend hung out with Ron in San Francisco when he was in Sons of Apollo.
