Big Puss knew he was trapped. It was either ratting on Tony or spending 30 years in prison. So I think that in order to be able to live with himself, he convinced himself that Tony deserves to go down, that he was doing the right thing. He committed fully to being an informant, and more. So he didn't have to feel bad about what he was doing. That ending montage I find very effective. It's essentially reminding the viewers that Tony's lavish lifestyle is built on misery and exploition; that we are rooting for the "bad guy", however likeable he might be.
The dream sequences in this show are surreal, both the dreams and the show get better season 3 onwards. Most realistic depictions of dreams in media ive ever seen
This show is more about studying characters then action like you see in breaking bad. How they affect the world and how the world affects them. You'll see later on Tony was never the same after killing Pussy. He knows the rules, the FBI catches you they get killed. If he and his "friends" can kill pussy, whats stoping them from killing him. Tony doesn't have friends, one of the reasons he sees a therapist
It's very sad , the season finale . The creator, David Chase, admitted in an interview that he regretted killing off such an interesting character. I liked the way Dr. Melfi picked up on Tony's sadness.
No, Janice killed Richie because he was useless to her now. He couldn't afford to buy the house that was bigger than Tony's anymore. He couldn't get Uncle Junior or the Barisi brothers on his side. Tony put a stop to his cocaine delivery scheme- putting Richie in trouble with the cartel. In short, Richie wasn't the rising star Janice was trying to make him into. She just used their little fight in the kitchen as the impetus to shoot him, but the underlying motivation was the fact he was a failure who would never become the boss. Thus, he was now useless to Janice, and her gold digging aspirations.
Yo wtf youtube! Your stuff wasn't popping up for me. I thought you were busy with school and had to put off videos or something. Now I have 3 months to catch up on lol. Happy to see you're still going strong!
Tony didnt give her the money because he cares about her. Its so he can leave without guilt. Just like with Beansie. His paralysis was Tony's fault, he made him take the money to releave his guilt. Its all for himself, not to help anyone.
You can tell in the beginning of the episode. The way he looks at him when he's explaining the calling card scam. They just wouldn't educate someone else, even a member, about their hustle. Now they will be getting in on it. Probably stuck out to Tony, that not normal
Ok it wasn’t Artie’s food or the Indian food that made Tony sick. Tony didn’t have food poisoning. It’s was the mother of all panic attacks. The tip-off he was physically ill because of his depression is what Tony said when he woke up from his 1st fever dream. “Life is a big nothing. It’s all black.” etc.
@@danielsimms4262There’s an established pattern with Tony. Started with the “Isabella” episode. Tony suppresses things he doesn’t want to face & eventually it leads to a psychotic moment where his subconscious is screaming at him & forces him to deal with something he’s trying his best to ignore. And remember when Tony asked Melphi about Pussys back ache. She explained how repressing things can lead to serious physical ailments. Another clue Tony’s vomiting was psychological not medical.
What a sad life mobsters lead, even when they are "successful", compared to that Dave should consider himself lucky to get out of there, despite what happened to him.
“That was not a marriage made in heaven.” One of the greatest lines from the series and defines Carmella’s character perfectly.
Lol right

17:57 silver platter.
nice reaction
He definitely thought it was a setup, but also knows what jr told him. With no support he knew Richie wouldn't risk it, especially at his mom's house.
35:14 "he's an asshole." 😆
24:20 "they take his money too?"
that just seems wrong.
“Holy shit” “stop asking”
Just a quick heads-up:

Omggg I just realized🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
@@journeymariereactsit’s ok, that was a slow pace episode, funny but low key and stand alone episode, not connected to the story
33:33 your absolutely correct

It seems like the character Richie just didn't work out, and the writers were projecting their own disappointment on to Junior.
23:26 👻😆
You can't put your hands on Janice ever, and not get a more extreme reaction.

Absolutely agree👌🏻
What happened to episode 11?
Accidentally skipped it, gonna react to it before I go to season 3👌🏻
