I Think season 1 took place in a week and since they left the quarry, it's only been a cpl weeks I believe. I've seen the episodes many times and love rewatching with you! I see your dog likes TWD, or maybe just hanging with Dad. Lol. When my dog wakes up, stretches, and yawns 10 times a day, I tell him he must be tired from sleeping all day.
It seems like you're taking a break or grew tired of the walking dead but just in case no one has said it yet, the universe they exist in doesn't have zombie media. I believe it's slipped in once on accident but they make it apparent their knowledge is 0 during the beginning of the apocalypse. Rick caught on during the talk Lori and Shane were having in Season 1 by the RV, but he wanted to see how long they'd keep it from him, so he knew when Lori told him. And you can Google a rough timeline of the walking dead (it contains spoilers for everything) and it seems like Shane and Lori were teamed up for 2 months and got together in that time, but Rick has only been there a week maybe a week and a half. Because (I'm sure you're aware) it takes roughly 2 weeks for enough hormone to form to get an accurate test, the possibly of Rick fathering the baby is slim. It's still close enough to question, so the only way to tell is if she gives birth early to a full grown baby. I hope you keep watching it, and the people saying it gets bad probably disagree with the direction it takes as it gets further and further away from zombies being a threat. Plus the meaningless quick deaths of main characters just for a moment of heartbreak.

I really don't think it's a good time to have a baby. Maybe just wait till they establish a place to actually stay safely for sure and for a long period of time. It's still should be Lori's decision to make cause she is going to endanger her life at the first place. What if something happens to her during pregnancy or giving birth. It's high chance the grown up women is going to die in this conditions. And who's gonna win from that? She can get pregnant one more time later on of she wants to, it's not the end of the world not to have this particular baby right now. They have more important things to take care of. And it's really irresponsible to bring a new person in this world right now, I'd make sure to take care of the son they already have, and not putting his life at risk for a pregnancy that might go wrong and kill the mother or cause death of other people in the group and all that risk for a baby that probably won't make it out alive in the first few months of it's life. Too many unnecessary risks.
