Yes! I was about to comment the same thing. The "what happened" in the title lead me to wait for the results of working out for 100 days - how did it change you physically and mentally?
for those of you wondering what kind of impact this had on their lives, I'll tell you about mine :) If you don't wanna read this whole ass essay down here just skip to the last bit thats where i talk about the results. hahaha ive just recently finished doing my 100 days of sweat challenge inspired by yes theory :) and I'm now carrying on that 100 days into a 200 days of sweat. Sounds crazy but throughout the first challenge working out everyday slowly became a habit and now it feels weird to not workout everyday. so i wanted to keep it going for 200 days. Day 1 - Day 7 were definitely the hardest to get going. What kept me motivated was that if I missed one day, then I'd have to start again. And I'd also started on the 23rd of september 2019 which means that Day 100 would be New years. So I wanted to finish 2019 strong and healthy and I knew i wouldn't be able to do that if i felt lazy for just one day. I got stronger and stronger mentally and physically, I've learnt so many new skills and its now become a part of my life. Ive just started learning calisthenics too, it's super hard but I have so many goals in mind and I know ill reach them some day hahaha. but this 100 days of sweat changed my mindset SO much. I have a way more positive outlook on life and am spending my time towards the things that actually matter. I've learnt self discipline which was a HUGE part of this challenge and it has helped me to focus on myself rather than what others might be thinking. I've found myself appreciating the little things way more and my diet is 100x healthier, everyday actually has a purpose now, I feel like a whole new person. I'm a 15yo girl and this has MEGA changed my life. If i can do it you can do it. I believe in y'all :):)
sui love to hear that you’re doing so great! I’m 16 and I’ve been thinking for a while now that I should start working out. But I can tell you that I’ve felt the same way as you have(change of mindset, focusing on what really matters to myself, enjoying the little things in life and so on) just by doing yoga for almost 30 days. I think everyone should try yoga for at least 10 days in a row to see results not only on the physical level, but mostly in the inside(mental). It might seem weird and funny at first, but if you commit to showing up you will start finding what fells good. So if anyone what’s to try yoga, I highly recommend Yoga with Adriene for beginners, and not only:) Maybe yoga is not your thing and you prefer working out, but nothing bad will happen if you try it. Good luck on your 200 days journey!
sui I think this is so amazing that you did that! Thank you for sharing your experience with us! Because of you I will actually try this myself! I have just one question, how much do you do every day?

This is so inspiring. The chart you created was so simple but very easy to follow. I'm in the process of trying to lose weight but my working schedule is so busy. I tried to push myself to work out and set some certain calories to burn every single day. But I only can finished 60% of the plan on the first month - only 3.5 kg lost in total. There are days that I was so tired and felt like exercising is a duty instead of an fun activity. I feel I had put so much pressure on myself by trying to reach those numbers and that's the reason why I could not complete them all. The simplicity of your chart makes me realize I should just be happy and excited about being active at least once a day.

You both are an inspiration. I've been following you guys since plant based traveller days, and I must say, you never fail to be an inspiration to everyone, or atleast to me.
I tore my acl & meniscus twice within 8 months... (i was 12 when I tore them both times I am now 14) I still play and participate in sports as I did before and run everyday. It’s been almostish 2 years since my second surgery and I do everything the same my metabolism has slowed down so much but I’m trying to get it back to normal as much as I can. The week I got released to play again after a year from my 2nd surgery I had tryouts the very next week meaning I had to get myself back into shape and fix things I had trouble remembering how to do in ONE WEEK and I ended up making jv my freshman year. Not the outcome I wanted but happy bc I made a team period. Within that year that I was “recovering” I ran a 5k, walked a 3k, and was participating in my travel teams weekly fitness(which was hard). So moral of the story if you want to get back into having the happiness of playing sports and being wild and crazy, you CAN do it. I really hope that the 100 days had brought you back to the good times. I understand the sadness and just overall blah it brings over you when you’re watching others play the sport that you’ve played your whole life and you can’t participate in it. Prayers for your happiness being brought back:)
Love it! 🤩 I just got done working out every day for a week myself! Can highly recommend trying a challenge like this! I experienced it as a really powerful mental exercise to see how much we can actually push through our physical pain, and crush our own limiting beliefs! 😁 I used to believe I couldn't run on the same day as I did leg day in the gym, well I was wrong 😊🙏
You 2 are sooo bad ass!!! I think that the concept of 30 day challenges or 100 day challenges is a uniquely millennial concept. I really dig it though and because of your vlogs I am coming up with a few of my own (I am 55). I once did what I called a violence fast for 30 days. I couldn’t believe how much I learned. I had to constantly switch the radio station, music and walk out of the room when the tv was on. I couldn’t go near my sons room when he was gaming either. When I finally managed to get all external violence out of my space I noticed that I started having violent thoughts. It was like if I couldn’t get it externally I was going to create it internally. Not terrible violence but more like wanting to lash out verbally and things like that. Anyway, I love the ? Days challenge and how much it can teach us about ourselves. Thank you for another great vlog.
Well one of the major things I learned is how much violence is pumped out into our culture. Until I was Consciously trying to avoid it that is. It’s virtually everywhere. Even some of my favorite songs from the old days. And also I had decided when I was in the first few days that I was choosing to fast from verbal and emotional violence as well. It seemed to come at me from every direction at times. I remember sitting down with my husband while he was watching tv and having to get up right away because there was a violent commercial on. I then walked up to visit my son in his room but could hear him yelling violence through his door while gaming. I went to my room to read and protect myself and found that even the book I was reading had all kinds of violence in it! I was reading The Road at that time. And when I realized that once I had the hang of keeping myself away from the external violence and my head started creating some it floored me to say the least! I tried to combat it by meditating on kindness and it helped quite a bit but it seemed the violent thinking was always close by
I just spent 10 mins watching a couple working out, without any conclusion. Second youtuber I see today that feels they are more important than the info that can be relatable to viewers....
She showed what happened literally almost every day of the challenge just not in words. This video is meant for her subscribers not people from the recommendations hoping for fitness tips, so since it's her video she is more important than the expectations you had
@@liligh you're the one complaining about stupid shit, how am I the Karen here? It's her video, her channel, her content. Keep your expectations in check. Not everything has to be relatable.
I tore my ACL in my left knee as well, before that event I was of the top 30 runners in my state. 2 years later I finally am getting back into running!

you are both lucky to be young and generally fit. are you continuing your efforts? I've had both knees replaced since Oct 2019, the 2nd one just 8 weeks ago. I do a mix of muscle work and cardio, the days where I do cardio are my 'active rest' days
Don't go too hard cause your body will need time to rest and repair itself, an active rest day could be something like yoga or any sort of light cardio to get your heart rate up, active rest days should be light and not put excessive strain on your body.
definitely get into jump rope its got SO many variations and burns a ton of calories, on all my active rest days jump rope is for sure my go to cardio. check out Jump Rope Dudes - I follow their workouts and they are great, they have a bunch of tutorials too.
**rest is important**, you know your body better than anyone else, if you feel you need to rest more than other days, go easy with some stretches, don't push yourself to the point where you risk injury
heres what my week looks like, there are some days like mondays and wednesdays where I will do a full body workout
i go to the gym after school everyday:
Monday - Calisthenics + (legs + abs) - gym
Tuesday - active rest cardio + abs - gym
Wednesday - Calisthenics + (legs + abs) - gym
Thursday - active rest cardio + abs - gym
Friday - legs +abs - gym
Saturday - Calisthenics - no gym
Sunday - active rest cardio - no gym
if you're keen to have a go at calisthenics, I use this beginners workout (cause I'm pretty new to it too) its actually really good and it's got all the different progressions so you can make the movements harder as you get better at them.

I think I'm in love with this lifestyle... traveling and visiting like... everywhere... and WELL DONE YOU 2 WERE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!
Wow, congrats!
This video was so motivational, thank you for documenting your journey! :)
Well done ! Very inspiring. Starting today xx
Holy macaroni who is y'all's genius editor???!!! Great video 👌 but brilliant editing!!
I'd love to learn more about your challenge! What other things did you notice?
I tried to combat it by meditating on kindness and it helped quite a bit but it seemed the violent thinking was always close by
WOW!!! Inspiring. Loved watching this journey!
I just spent 10 mins watching a couple working out, without any conclusion. Second youtuber I see today that feels they are more important than the info that can be relatable to viewers....
Exactly. Clickbait. Thumbs down
She showed what happened literally almost every day of the challenge just not in words. This video is meant for her subscribers not people from the recommendations hoping for fitness tips, so since it's her video she is more important than the expectations you had
@@lenaheitmann4500 then she should have made it private. Go away Karen
@@liligh you're the one complaining about stupid shit, how am I the Karen here?
It's her video, her channel, her content. Keep your expectations in check.
Not everything has to be relatable.
@@lenaheitmann4500 I would be happy with finished and not self centered. We are done I hope

Am very mobile now. although it's still very painful at times, but I've just bought my first ever walking boots! Am looking forward to joining my OH on some simple walks. Am looking forward to getting back to yoga too. 2020 and beyond are going to be different from the past 2 decades!
Well done. Hope you didn't stop
Wow that's AWESOME!
