I was stationed at the former Naval Base from 1986 to 1989 as an American Marine guard. I also lived in Olongapo City from 2013 to 2014. Awesome memories here!!!!

Yes you may take Saulog or Victory buses from manila going to Olongapo City (not sure if they have direct trips to Subic) but once you’re in Olongapo, there are jeepneys there going to Subic. If visiting SBMA Beach, take a jeepney to SM Olongapo Downtown then just walk or take a taxi from SM going to the beach. If you’re also planning to visit Subic’s Barretto or Baloy Beach, you’ll have to go back to the jeepney terminal near the bus stations in Olongapo
U.S. Navy left beautiful infrastructure and a beautiful beach but somehow Filipinos know how to trash it! Mahiya naman kayo sa isa't isa. Keep it clean! Puro basura lalo na sa beach!

How to get here via commute? if im from a bus like saulog from manila, then is there a entrance fee to enter here especially on that beach?
