FUN FACT: this flasher actually wasn’t my first flasher! My first ever flasher was the iso area flasher from a 16-16 grid from a 10- inch square of paper
I think this was the most physically uncomfortable I've been while folding since I started origami. I felt like I was fighting the paper the whole time, and it still makes me apprehensive about trying the larger tessellated designs. I think I'm having a hard time visualizing the three dimensionality of the design, and I even managed to screw this one up in the second quadrant. But, I have my first flasher under my belt now, and I'll practice it again. Surely, it'll eventually click. If nothing else, I now have an even greater appreciation for your other larger tessellated projects. As always, thanks for the tutorial and your patience to explain.
