His testimony is so special and will really resonate with people who are more into the spiritual realm. I'm a Catholic but my husband is Orthodox and this man really summed up what he's said for years, I finally understand! Thanks so much for hosting a variety of interesting people and doing such a great job interviewing them!
I remember reading this about the new monk who entered the monestary and was prideful and began having visitations from angels and would fall into states of extacy and was often found to be very sweaty and the elder asked him, why are you often so sweaty and then it came to light that he was being visited by angels. The young monk even told his elder "you old man, all these years as an elder and youve never experienced what im experiencing, the Heavens are being shown to me!" So yeah afterwards they demoted him to working on the farm and he did that for many years and it humbled him and ultimately helping him workout his salvation.
Congratulations on discovering Orthodox Christianity! I found it as well, though I was raised Protestant. I found the Liturgy to be powerful, beautiful, and much more in line with my understanding of Biblical truth. It was also the perfect text to lead me away from my ego in its approach to worship. For years I tried to merge shamanic elements with Christianity, using mushrooms, etc. And of course it doesn't work. One thing I realized using psychedelics, was the huge amount of protective filters God has put in place to shield me from a realm I'm not equipped to handle. Great testimony, Aaron!
I was raised JW to become an atheist criminal to Orthodox Christianity - He never gave up on me either! Glory be to Christ!! He heals those that cry to Him in humility. Come and see......
Thank you so much for this testimony ❤ I wept when he talked about seeing himself in his filth and returning to Christ. God is so merciful and patient.

I am still trying to understand Jesus and how to follow him. I was involved with false spiritual practices for a while and at this point dont know what I am doing. Trying to find a church and pray about it. But idk where to go since alot of deception is out here and infiltrating so many denominations/non denominations(which there shouldn't even be). I'm trying to decide on orthodox or one of the tens of thousands of protestant branches out there lol. Do you believe orthodox is a deceptive "Sect" of Christianity some how? I could really use the help.
@@mayaday8538 I don't think orthodoxy is deceptive or evil. But all sects of Christianity have been infected with philosophy and occultism. So I think just keep focusing on the life you want to live and what Jesus actually said and what it really is saying. You have to understand what was going on around Jesus at the time. The bible itself is not enough. You need to understand history and language and philosophy and the least. But if not that at least focus on having a good heart
Excellent point about thinking your will is your own when under demonic influence. I used NON-psychedelic drugs for a while and even those are very tricky with what they do to your mind and spirit. Darkens it gradually. Excellent interview.
Thank you for your testimony. Remembering to seek God first in all things, with knowledge, openness and humility are central points of faith and worthy of sharing. I will say, though, that the Bible also says we are to make disciples of all nations, and we are to be used by God for this task. Videos such as this one go a long way to accomplishing this goal. For anyone reading this, please pray for me and my family, that we are united and reconciled in Christ, that deliverance from evil forces in us is powerful and pervasive, and that my album is touched ever more by the Holy Spirit all the way to triumphant completion for His Kingdom.
This was one of my best testimonies ever. Anthony really understands the faith and the spiritual realm and displays the humility of Christ. So grateful to hear how Christ changed him.
This man could be my doppelgänger! I deeply appreciate his articulations. I’ve experienced much of what he said, wanting to be special, and so on. Thank you sir!
Thank you, Stephen & Aaron. I really appreciate this episode. I needed to hear this for sure. Very grateful for you, my brothers. God bless you both in every way.
Wow, this was near exact for my story of the steps that I kinda took, gradually, toward understanding and actively working with the demonic. Do not be mistaken, even yoga, tarot, astrology, crystals…..all it is is inviting demons and giving them permissions, that is what high magick is and that’s what it always was. Don’t dabble!!!!!
I sooooo appreciate his transparency and willingness to find value in sharing his story even though he feels he’s not yet fully where he wants to be with his walk in Christ. I’m so grateful for the insight he shared on Eastern Orthodox Christianity bc this rings so true for me as well. The more basic teachings can feel so stifling and mundane when your spiritual intellect is vast and knowing… you just immediately understand that what the typical churches are teaching are just not spiritually fulfilling enough once you’ve studied in depth on the esoterica’s. It’s hard to find a spiritual home where the teachers are filled with bountiful knowledge string enough to answer the most astute mentally thriving individual that grows bored from the lack of the full spectrum of spirituality without crossing over into territories most should not cross. He made such an excellent point, one I’ve always believed, which was the tree of knowledge wasnt necessarily ofg limits forever, but there was a timing to it and an ability to show obedience and trust that when the time was right, God would prevail in letting man know it was time. This is such a good point and one I truly believe. I have my other theories on it as well. But when you study in depth, it truly makes reading the Bible perplexing bc you can see/detect the parts that are not of God but copied from text that were referencing little gods. Reading the Bible with very little research on history, makes it so much more easier to follow along and go with the flow, but then you’re very easily deceived if you just go along with it all bc there is absolutely trickery in between the lines. All in all, your thirst for knowledge does become relentless and that’s prob why there’s the allegory regarding eating from trees with the fruit of knowledge which I always believed it was plant based “drugs” that heighten awareness and make one feel like a god. Without full proper training and understanding of life’s mysteries first, one should not eat from it’s tree 🍎🌳✨ I enjoyed his testimony and insight very much and will look into some things he’s mentioned. THANK YOU and God BLESS!
I went from Methodist to Catholic then several years of general Protestant churches until through a long chain of events I ended up in an Orthodox Church. Within the first five minutes I knew whatever this was I wanted to stay. I am a catechumen now.
This guy explains everything excellently! I would like to know if he thinks that psilocybin, since it comes from natural form, is made by God. Unlike LSD which has to be synthesized. The reason I ask is because I had spiritual breakthroughs on psilocybin. I believed in God. However, believing Christ was the son of God was very difficult for me. It was psilocybin that enabled me to make the leap of faith that I needed to believe in the divinity of Christ.
Kevin Rider - I'd watched a video - not to be disrespectful but just is the name of it 'Eastern Orthodoxy Debunked' Christian Video Vault. One of the things that stood out that was said by the Orthodox Priest at 1:29:43 - 1:30:41 "This whole idea that Christ is a human sacrifice to redeem us from God...The substitutional sacrifice is a neo-pagan doctrine worthy of Baal or Molech but not worthy of the living God. First thing you have to understand is we're not dealing with sin - we're dealing with human suffering. And most people fall into sin not because they're intrinsically evil, but because the inner human suffering becomes so strong that it erupts outward in the form of a sin. And to understand now sin isn't about breaking the law - sin is about doing something that is alienating you again from God. It's the alienation that is the problem - sin is just the symptom, but the alienation from God is the problem." - I went to an Eastern Orthodox Greek Food Festival during the Fall and noticed inside at the selling booths quite a bit of 'third eye' symbolism in their jewelry and also woven into their festival t-shirt designs all were wearing. Could see where the focus would be - through our suffering turning ourselves from sin and drawing ourselves closer to God as Jesus did, and seeking supernatural experiences and guidance being necessary to resolve the sin issue with this belief. Instead of through God's mercy for us, coming in the flesh as Jesus to take the punishment that we deserve to satisfy the Holy justice of God, and change our hearts in the process - all because of His mercy towards us through what 'Christ has done' - not by man's attempts to bring himself closer to God.
I can relate to his testimony I too found the Orthodox Church but after dabbling in charismatic Christianity which I now understand to be full of witchcraft.
Eastern Orthodox seems to attract the Christian intellectuals. Technically, it is Catholicism. Which is why people who truly research the church Fathers find themselves moving towards Catholicism and Orthodox. The main difference is their dogma regarding the papacy and some sacraments (Baptism, etc)
His ability to articulate the lure of The Occult is impressive. Orthodoxy/Catholicism has many stumbling blocks and strongholds. Familiarize yourself with Pagan/Heathen religion(s) and they all stand out in bright red. Reading The Bible dispels it all. There are no rituals in The Lord, Jesus Christ. Worship is following The Ten Commandments. His yoke is light. Always remember that. *When Satan fails to capture you with the dark, he will then attempt with his version of the light.* In the Occult, you interact with demonic entities that convince you they are of the light. In Catholicism/Orthodox you interact with Saints and Mary. In The Bible it says the dead know nothing. Who do you all suppose Catholics are interacting with? Yes. The same as the Occult. Lying entities.
Hi, I was thinking the other day about small acts of divination that people do. What's your thoughts on "make a wish" when you blow out birthday candles? Or "lucky horse shoe, 4 leaf clover" ect. It would seem logical that that is divination because you are not placing it on God through a prayer? Or is that too extreme?
There is nuance to everything but we generally don't rely on luck. We generally do such things because we want to avoid suffering, put church history is full of instances where suffering is exactly what was needed to bring someone to salvation. So we do not attempt to stack the deck in our favor but rather we pray that God will grant us the grace to endure all things.
I got to a place in my following the One True good Shepherd the Lord Jesus Christ Father everlasting Holy Ghost ( One Lord) that those little items here and there had to go. I don’t understand witchcraft that much at all but those items are considered “charms” and I see that they are more designed to give false hope. As a Christian we are saved by the true hope in Christ.
We don't wish in Christianity. I've learned wishing was one of first forms of witchcraft... it was called wishcraft. I Read about it in late Ex-Voodooist Earthquake Kelly's book the Nmos Cycle. Avoid wishing. Pray & know that the Lord is answering your prayers. As long as they are alignment with his will & the inheritance he has for you.
Aaron, something about you reminds me of Scott Wieland. You may be the only person reading this who knows who he was. Anyhooooo...thank you for sharing your story. Jesus saves!!!!!
Yes you can loose salvation. Do not fall into the trap of "once saved always saved" Take your eyes off Christ and you will go to hell. There is a special place in hell for Luke warm christians
Yes. We are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Simply knowing is not enough rather we must live a life that reflects the commandments of God. And the Orthodox church we say that we are saved, we are in the act of being saved, and that we hope to be saved.
Work out your salvation means you are saved working on your salvatio. Not your working yourself to be saved. Yiu obviously dont understand the gospel and you are probably self righteous that thinks you are better than others for a particular sin huh @@ChrismaMysterion
No! Ephesians 1:12-14 - that Holy Spirit of promise seals us in Christ and in the Godhead the moment you trusted Jesus Christ to be your Saviour! And believed how HE DIED 4 UR SINS AND RESURRECTED ❤️🔥🙌🙌💯✝️🙌🙌
I hope someone with a background explains this to me. I know & believe that God dwells in our hearts but why in The Bible does it say “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked…” Jeremiah 17:9 .Thank You
We are to trust the Lord God Jesus Christ even more than we trust ourselves because we might follow our heart into failing to share the true gospel of salvation by trading the truth in for not “judging” someone we do not want to hurt. God loves judgment that is godly judgment. The Lord’s judgment begins in His house. We can seek the Lord’s heart and His ways by reading and rightly dividing His word and spending time with Him in prayer and personal relationship with Him.
You right because he mentioned in this interview that he heard stories from his family that other relatives may of dabbled in the occult thus giving legal access to evil spirits to influence his life.
So it’s wonderful that he was lead from this horrible life style. I’m glad for him. As a former Roman Catholic however orthodoxy also has its traditions that are not found in the Bible. Mary worship for example. The fact that in the Eucharist Christ is sacrificed again and again. Like His death once wasn’t enough. It heresy and blasphemy. It’s a religious organization that teaches its Jesus and…the Bible and…
There was this famous college football player named Harrison Butker who made a speech last month about family values and millions of feminists were enraged and grabbed their torches convinced that he said a woman's place was in the kitchen which he didn't. Not a single one of these women even read his speech. They just ran with it. This is the same way that alot of well meaning Protestants act too when they don't know what they're talking about. Jesus is NOT sacrificed over and over again. The Catholic Catechism explicitly says "Jesus Christ has been crucified once and can not be Crucified again". Mass is not a reenactment of Calvary m. It is a reenactment of the Last Supper. Jesus did not die at the Last Supper. It is called"The Sacrifice of the Mass" because when Jesus said "Do this in memory of me" he used 2 Greek words. Poieseis and Anamnesis. Both these words are used in the Old Testament 100's of times and are translated as either Offering or Sacrifice (in the context of worship). So yes. Calling it the Sacrifice of the Mass is biblical. Also- Catholics do not Worship Mary. That's another thing the Catechism explicitly says not to do but people react like they did with Harrison Butker and grab their torches. Jesus is Lord!!!
The orthodox church is the church which broke away from the Catholic church. That is the easiest breakdown. But they do not share the same pope or some of their traditions. It is a very interesting history. But orthodoxy isn't protestant Christianity. Think of it like this the Catholic Church and Orthodox Church are around the same ball park. Protestants don't follow a church or the gospel in the same manner. But then again protestants are at odds over doctrine as well.
Orthodoxy is the church as it was for the first thousand years. Around the year 1054 the Roman Catholic Church broke away and about 500 years later the Protestant Reformation began. Orthodoxy is responsible for giving you the Bible. Orthodoxy is the longest-standing Christian church in the world.
Amazing testimony Arron wow what a mighty God we serve Our Lord God picked me up out of the mirery clay and placed my feet on The solid Rock and he's building my life on the firm foundation of Calvary’s Cross 🦋💙🩵💜✝️💟♥️🙏
Galatians 3:28 We are all one in Christ Jesus. Since there are no various categorized& labelled religions in Heaven with a name and sometimes a slightly (sometimes very different) perspective of God's Word, should we put ourself in a different category while we're here on earth? Do u think it's possible that the origins to all the different religions were created to cause a division & confusion amongst us? Proverbs 14:12 Everyone has their own personal abuse and why they chose the religion they have established. Whether they were brought up that way or they had a certain desire Satan has used to deceive them to think a certain way that fits into the belief system for a particular labelled religion.Y'know Satan gives us some or even most truth to fit in a lie that can lead to destruction. Out of all the religions that I have studied, each one has at least one flaw. Something that does not line up to God's word. I think it's very important to be mindful
Men seek Christ, Catholicism intercepts them. Pray they see through the Pagan, Church of Rome masquerading as The Church of Christ... Most Catholics are God fearing, Christ loving people... Pray for them.
@@Segador80The Muratorian Fragment is one of the oldest known lists of New Testament books which we use today, circa 180 AD Irenaeus' list (180ad) was similar but omitted some NT books . His list and the Muratoria Fragment indicate that the early church(not catholic church) had already agreed on the core New Testament canon.
Bible studies, What is it that the Bible is fighting against and how do our sins come into handy? First of all, we are all sinners and we have been freed by Jesus Christ and only. We believers of course are not alone, and Satan and his servants are very real and still carry out practices against us trying to rule the Kingdom of Heaven. How so? Well, there is the Tree of Knowledge we shall not touch, that is the mechanism God used to create our lives. How could we touch it if we are not Gods? Well, as in the Bible Satan used to be an angel but he rebelled and showed dissatisfaction towards our creator, who is God. So, he threw him and one-third of his followers out of heaven for rebelling against his work. How is it being reflected in our life? Well, occult practices are the imitation of his works. They are layers of his channels and tapping on them, or channels that blend our needs and work is a rebellion against him. But how can someone deploy such a gameplay against the creator and his inferiors? Well, there are multiple ways you can do it, but under general terms, they are considered occult practices or Satanism. Witchcraft, Black-Art, sorcery, and so on are all parts of this cultic mechanism. Under its mechanism it works in the following ways, at least this is what I have been exposed to by the members intentionally. They have materials that are designed with the use of reverse engineering (reverse psychology) these were books, nicely worded, almost like the Bible but because they imitate God and they never intend to come from the front. These were grey intentionally looking evil types. So, when you read them, they sound like the Bible exactly, but because the mind revisits the past, backward these books have a different meaning and instruct the mind of its readers to recondition themselves to a higher (usually) degree. But, if they are to produce criminals then they use the lower degree conditioning and make the person rebel against the people, and because it is designed to imitate God, against him too, plating that person for atrocities and making him a human offering to their God. It is worth mentioning that the Tree of Knowledge can be recalled as the following - but we are not meant to touch it at any cost. The best is to stay away from it and see the serpent as it is rather than who it wants you to make you believe it wants. So, our mind operates in the following way; The super subconscious mind - this is what links everyone to each other. This is the channel that can be used in Black Art to target people, this is the lower layer of the public consciousness. In Satanism, this is the lower entity as they personalize what God created for us, for him to create. Then comes your channels, your subconscious mind, your conscious mind, and your ego. These can be perverted through the manipulation of the super-subconscious mind. After that, there is the Superego which is God`s channel to lead us, the holy spirit and Jesus Christ. And, this is the target of Black Art and Witchcraft as it intends to take ownership over this channel to lead the above three personal channels into submission and obedience to serve its climate. I figured that the Bible defends us from this intervention in the following way, that is sin-offering and it intends to strengthen the environment God has created us for all, and at the same time exposes those intentionally or else submitted to benefit from occult practices that are perverting the mechanism of God`s way. Eventually, they should balance each other out until we stop doing it all at once. But to do that, we shall make the most out of it until it is so unbearable that no human can ever take ownership of it as a whole or parts of it. We cannot succeed against God and we certainly don`t want to succeed. We cannot judge as we can not understand what is happening. And, we certainly don`t want to get exposed to the main channels of our life, because God is our creator and those chosen to practice such occult are and will be a competitor to Satan where they stand no chance to survive. We are connected through that channel where the lower (super subconscious)stands for Satan, where our sins are stored, and the higher (superego) serves as God`s channel. So, when you are being attacked by directly or indirectly, please do bear in mind how this mechanism works, and how you are being tapped into - the super subconscious mind. And, that is what is the aim, and that is to derail the superego God made us to follow, including himself. Avoid exposure to this environment, as the superego shall not be disturbed by sinners or else you`ll be calling God`s wrath on yourselves. If you are exposed to the super subconscious mind, you are plating yourself for those who intend to feed on your being to serve their purpose. Use only your channels and stay within, there they can`t touch you, but do bear in mind that they can use others you trust to target you or trick you without them even knowing it. These Satanists also use the Bible to perfect the work of their art that intends to manipulate our channels. To make us manipulate our channels, deceive ourselves, and potentially destroy ourselves. Stay within and be safe under God`s command and for the well-being of his kingdom.
Nine Inch Nails isn't even a satanic band. There's one song that talks about God and the rest are about relationships and depression. I highly doubt this guy ever actually listened to any of this "dark" music he's claiming he listened to. And even if he did, Trent reznor has not been the type to get people into the occult, that's literally not his style. Can't say the same for Manson.
Yes, that’s exactly what I thought- in fact I said it out loud! I am an Orthodox Christian. I am certainly no saint. If I were to interview a Protestant for my own show, I would make no mention of our difference. After all it would be my own choice to host this person. I’m not interested in any debate. We do our best at evangelism simply by aiming at higher states holiness and repenting. Even though there was no debate here, it starts the interview off with an attitude of “obviously I’m right and this guy is wrong, but that’s ok, I’ll still let him talk.” That’s my first impression.

I'm a former protestant now orthodox. Protestantism, divorced from tradition, splits into endless denominations and gets horribly corrupt overtime.
Without full proper training and understanding of life’s mysteries first, one should not eat from it’s tree 🍎🌳✨
I enjoyed his testimony and insight very much and will look into some things he’s mentioned. THANK YOU and God BLESS!
Prayer is conversation with God. " Prayer is education for your soul." His Mercy is real !
Thank you , Aaron. Such clarity in yoùr articulation.
I learnt so much from this interview. Thank you both very much.
Thank you both, interesting testamony
Like your channel. Good intros, concise questions, excellent content, great guests you allow to speak. Good work sir.
Thank you for your kind words!
To the interviewer: you're so great at what you do. I love your questions and the humility in receiving the answers. God bless you!

Thank you for awesome ministry 🙏🙏🙏
I can relate to his testimony I too found the Orthodox Church but after dabbling in charismatic Christianity which I now understand to be full of witchcraft.
Thanks to Aaron for his testimony, it was very powerful. Great job, guys!
Thank you for watching!
Great testimony and well articulated ❤
I love this. I am currently trying to screen out unhealthy spiritual practice
Great interview!

*When Satan fails to capture you with the dark, he will then attempt with his version of the light.*
In the Occult, you interact with demonic entities that convince you they are of the light.
In Catholicism/Orthodox you interact with Saints and Mary.
In The Bible it says the dead know nothing.
Who do you all suppose Catholics are interacting with? Yes. The same as the Occult. Lying entities.
😂
Baptism isn’t a ritual?
Yes it's all 'magic' and not Christian.
SO informative ❤ I am glad God saved you
Aaron, something about you reminds me of Scott Wieland. You may be the only person reading this who knows who he was. Anyhooooo...thank you for sharing your story. Jesus saves!!!!!
Yes, Scott. I agree.
Aaron, can our salvation ever be lost for some reason?
Yes you can loose salvation. Do not fall into the trap of "once saved always saved" Take your eyes off Christ and you will go to hell. There is a special place in hell for Luke warm christians
No x

Obeying Act's 2:38,39 is the only key to the kingdom of heaven.
I hope someone with a background explains this to me. I know & believe that God dwells in our hearts but why in The Bible does it say “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked…” Jeremiah 17:9 .Thank You
Before we are Born Again with the Holy Spirit, before God lives in our hearts, "The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked"
@@traditionalgirl5585 before being born again, thank you this makes sense to me now.
Sanctification by the Holy Ghost and washing of the water of the word, helps our wicked and deceitful hearts ❤️🔥
There were already legal rights within the family line before he came into adulthood.
You right because he mentioned in this interview that he heard stories from his family that other relatives may of dabbled in the occult thus giving legal access to evil spirits to influence his life.
Very interesting.
Have you never sung the worship song "We bring the SACRIFICE of praise into the house of the Lord!"?
❤❤❤
What is orthodoxy?
The orthodox church is the church which broke away from the Catholic church. That is the easiest breakdown. But they do not share the same pope or some of their traditions. It is a very interesting history. But orthodoxy isn't protestant Christianity. Think of it like this the Catholic Church and Orthodox Church are around the same ball park. Protestants don't follow a church or the gospel in the same manner. But then again protestants are at odds over doctrine as well.
Christianity of the Eastern Roman Empire that is headquartered in Constantinople (Istanbul).
❤
That's a great analogy. Gross but true.
Proverbs 14:12
Everyone has their own personal abuse and why they chose the religion they have established.

The Bible which got canonized by the church isn't from God then?
@@Segador80The Muratorian Fragment is one of the oldest known lists of New Testament books which we use today, circa 180 AD
Irenaeus' list (180ad) was similar but omitted some NT books . His list and the Muratoria Fragment indicate that the early church(not catholic church) had already agreed on the core New Testament canon.
Bible studies,
What is it that the Bible is fighting against and how do our sins come into handy?
So, our mind operates in the following way;
The super subconscious mind - this is what links everyone to each other.
Nine inch nails were used to hang Jesus on the cross. Loser music.
You off the bat start the interview by causing a "us vs them" "protestants vs orthodox" 🤦♀️
Orrhodoxy makes sense. It is the tru church of the creed appostolic the same as the oppostles to now. For the first few centerys there was the tradition before the bible was put together. Icons. Incence, litirgy, the saints. Buet interview. Excuse my spelling im a slowboy.

I'm a former protestant now orthodox. Protestantism, divorced from tradition, splits into endless denominations and gets horribly corrupt overtime. It's a tree with shallow roots that gave us a lot but then dried out and now rots. From 'sexy Christianity' to 'prosperity gospel' to cold calvinist reformed, it doesn't know how to do church. Orthodoxy is the one true Church. Lord Jesus, Son of God have mercy on us sinners. God bless you!
Orthodoxy is full of nonbiblical beliefs. It takes a recipe and makes it into an encyclopedia.
