Very nice and lovely guitar!!! Great lesson Cindy. Cant wait for your trip (hoping you will share some of your visits to any mom & pop stores along the way)😊 I enjoy the Travis style picking❤
That was a great lesson and the front view of you playing helped a lot. I’m a fairly new beginner at 73 and want to give finger style a try. I will need to work on my finger placement when fretting the strings so the note will be clear and not muted.
Nothing like Bob Dylan on a beautiful guitar and a very kind person to show us guitar skills. P.S. love the kindness mug. Have a great trip and as Mr.Dylan would say, keep on keeping on 🙂
I just got this notification and I’m sure you already went on your guitar store trip anyway I will watch the videos that come up thanks for the lesson 👍🏻🤘🏻
Hello Cindy. I'm viewing this a little late. Apologies, I'm putting new strings on a 12 fret 000 built for me by John Greven. John is probably the best luthier I know and I consider myself very fortunate to own my guitar. OK enough about me. This is another great lesson, Your explanation is just what I need. I will watch this video many times and I so appreciate your making it. I think you are just the best and I look forward to the next video, As always, cheers and may God bless
Because I have not practiced it much, I tried it slow alternating E string and D string bass as the example and trying single note B string after E string bass and single note high E after D string bass then doing for next measure, B to E high - two notes after E bass then 3 notes b,e,b string after D string bass ..... seems to give a sense of what fits evenly between those beats 1 and 3 that the bass notes are handling .... hey subscribers are a rising at a nice clip there! ..... So after I did it some more I see you could switch from 2 notes to 3 notes and switch up where you want to put that silence thats left when you do just the two notes between the beats two and 4
I am glad you continue to play guitar! I know it has to be a struggle… wishing you the very best and appreciate so much that you take the time to listen in❤️

Have a save trip, Cindy ... ❤
Thank you😀❤️
enjoy your trip..
Thank you❤️
I too have a sort of home-made finger picking technique. But I admit my picking isn't standard from one song to the next. 😮 I try though. 😊
I don’t think it always has to be standard😀 …enjoy your discoveries! So glad you are listening in❤️
Love this guitar! Could you do some sound comparisons between the cocobolo and rosewood guitars?
I wish I had done similar shaped guitars to make a solid comparison. This one definitely - increased lows - the base notes come through really well 😀
I will think on the comparison idea😀
