Hi Daniel! Love your videos, I’m so happy I found your channel. You are an amazing storyteller both visually and vocally…so inspiring! Keep it coming mate! Cheers!
I just discovered you… You make me think of a guy you probably know that I follow since many years. It is Thomas Heaton, calm video, very technical and everything. But what catch me a lot from you is your macro photography with light and aluminum. I really love your work, nature is so beautiful in these forest, where we need to take more time into. You gain a new follower for years, and I hope your hard and excellent work will get you wherever you dream of!
Well Steve, it is very motivating to wake up to this kind of comment. I really do appreciate and I’m happy you enjoyed my videos. Again, thank you very much.!🙏🙂👍
I follow lots of photographers on TH-cam (including Simon Baxter). I find your production values, for video, your photos, content and narrative, are absolutely top level. Many thanks again for a beautiful video and good learning.
Good stuff. I like the walk around to gauge what the best angle is. I find myself being too impatient and always regret not spending more time to think about the composition. Have to remind myself to slow down and breathe.
Keeps getting better and better. Thanks for bringing us with you on these awesome adventures! Careful though, it's easy to get lost in the woods when there is so much beauty to admire...
@@DanielAucoinFineArt When did you start taking pictures in your life? Did your family take a lot of pictures when you were growing up? You are very avid @ detail!!! Your pictures of businesses cannot be put into words other beyond greatness of any advertising I ever have seen.
This Video helped me tremendously understanding the process of finding good compositions in woodland. It helped much more than some of the bigger channels! It changed the game for me a little bit :) Thank you very much! :)
Really glad I came across your channel - this is a great video and it's so cool to see your process! Subscribed! Subscribed to Simon Baxter too - I love woodland photography!
Merci Daniel. Greetings from Ontario. Simon Baxter is lucky to have access to those old growth forests with gnarly old trees common to the UK. It's nice to see you work with new growth forests here in North America. Where about's was this location?
Great video. Excellent technique Daniel. I'm definitely going to do the walk around with the camera next time, I normally do the walk around without it. :)
Very impressive images, considering the kind of woodland you were at. It looks much more like our woodlands here, unlike those ancient british fairytale woodlands in Simon's work (which I obviously adore). I'm really enjoying your content, so please keep on!
awesome as usual! Why the high ISO and slow shutter speed instead of a low ISO and faster shutter speed? You are not trying to smooth out water or clouds, so I just don't get why. Thanks
@@DanielAucoinFineArt On one of your videos you take a square picture, for example a mushroom where a fly is sitting! Is this your style or something else!?
I’m always green with envy watching Simon Baxter so I’ll be watching here for inspiration in less flattering woodlands here in eastern US.
Thanks Drew I’m happy you enjoyed the content.👍😉
I much appreciate the discussion as you walk through. Good for my learning! Thanks.
Thanks Guy I’m happy you found some value in this video. It is good for my learning to.!😉✌️

It is near my parents' home in Edmundston, New Brunswick. I shot this in a tree plantation - such a magical place! Thank you for the comment!

Hi my friend I’m not sure I understand your question but thanks for the comment.😉
I meant a low iso like 100 for less noise and a SLOWER shutter speed (not faster).
Great commentary on all your compositions I probably would’ve walked by every one of them.😂
haha, thanks for the comment, A+
Nice
Thanks for the comment!🤟
В какой размер вы кадрируете свои фото!?
More specific please 😉
