    I totally agree with you, that the outcome of an image should not be the scale of one's enjoyment and motivation to take images.

      Yes, I’m really happy to hear from you. If I only have one suggestion to make enjoy yourself while you’re doing your photography and enjoy the process. The images will at least means something do you!😉✌️

    Yes, it is the journey with nature when out scouting a composition. When I find an interesting area, I usually sit quietly for a few minutes and then usually composition ideas start flooding in. So, if you struggle to find compositions, SLOW DOWN. Life is all around. And, you can always go macro. 😊

    I really like the square shot #2 with the yellow leaf and the diagonal flow of water.

    Another inspiring and informative video. Great work. I love that you take so much care to explain your process. It's a struggle I find to keep my focus on ENJOYING the moment, of exploring, and of just being out and about. I *know* that is the point (and I do enjoy it all), but when I have my camera in hand, it causes me to be looking for shots and judging the potentials. Thank you for reminding me again to work more at "not working" at this! LOL Thank you!

    Trying to decide between the rf 14-35 f4 and the 15-35 f2.8. I love your images. Do you think the f2.8 is worth the extra size and weight?

    • @DanielAucoinFineArt
      @DanielAucoinFineArt  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have to say that since I’m doing these longer form videos, I carry a lot of gear with me and yes the 14 to 35 F4 would be better suited for me because of the weight and size.
      If size matter for you go with the smaller one because because if it’s too big, you won’t use it as much. Hope that helps you. 😉

    Prefer second shot as has more of a base holding image up. As a personal preference l like water shot at 1/8 of a sec.

      haha, that's a great question, Don. I think I wasn't feeling like capturing these roots for some reason. But I totally agree with you that it had some potential. Might come back there to see...Thanks for the comment, A+
